Annabeth
They were almost there. Bob was going to hold the button for them as they ascended into the world above. Just as they were about to enter the elevator, Percy suddenly jumped behind her and cried out in pain.
“Percy! Wha-no, no, no”
Percy fell to the ground and a cyclops loomed over her. Annabeth looked down at Percy and saw a 16 inch knife sticking out of his stomach. She suddenly realized that Percy had seen the cyclops behind and must have jumped behind to take the hit for her.
“Oh gods, Percy!” She grunted as she began to drag Percy into the elevator.
Just as the cyclops was about to reach them, the elevator doors closed with a snap. Percy was lying on the cold floor while Annabeth tried to keep the doors shut. She saw Percy’s eyes threatening to shut.
“Percy, no! Stay with me. Keep your eyes open!”
“Annabe-, it hurts” He mumbled as he tried to focus on her.
“I know it hurts, seaweed brain but you got to stay conscious.”
“I-I can't,” Percy groaned as he slipped out of consciousness.
“Hold on Percy. Just ten minutes left,” Annabeth thought.
