   Summary

   The old gods are long dead, and the new ones doesn't care about us at all.

   In the wake of Rhaenyra Targaryen's sudden and mysterious death, the kingdom plunges into chaos.

   In an attempt to restore order, an arranged marriage is brokered between Alicent Hightower and Daemon Targaryen. Yet, this alliance is fraught with tension.

   Alicent, burdened by the uncertainty of her future, struggles with the weight of her new role. Until then, Daemon is haunted by his dark past and doubts.
