Joe had spent the entire evening gathering the courage to kiss The Hot Italian he had a severe crush on. After his fifth cocktail (which really had been mocktails because the waiter knew that Joe was terrible to be around when he was hangover), he walked over to The Hot Italian and took his hand. Just as he had imagined in his dreams, he was so happy to find out that The Hot Italian's hand was warm and soft to hold in reality.
Joe: "Dance?"
The Hot Italian nodded with a shy smile. Joe walked extra slowly towards the dancefloor so he could enjoy the warm, soft hand he was holding onto for as long as possible. They danced slowly to a song with a lot of drums you couldn't kiss anyone to. And then the music stopped because the DJ needed a break. For a moment, Joe and The Hot Italian looked at each other with shy smiles while moving closer towards each other, and after bumping their heads together, which made them laugh, they were five seconds from kissing each other when "Can You Feel The Love Tonight?" blasted out of the loudspeakers. It made Joe turn around and look at the DJ, who had a proud look on his face, which said: "I'm glad I could help you.". Before Joe could argue with the DJ, who was his best friend, The Hot Italian kissed Joe, and he forgot all about Booker.
The Hot Italian: "You have to admit kissing to that song is so much better than the one with the drums."
That was the first thing Joe agreed with The Hot Italian about, and after learning each other's names, they left the club hand in hand and walked out into the night while getting to know each other better. That night began their relationship, which would last for the next 87 years.
