Chapter Text
“im sorry buck!” eddie says, getting frustrated.
“how can you be sorry?! you told her without my permission!!”
“she needed to know!!”
“did she? did she really to know about something i said in 2018? i mean she broke up with me!!” buck cries. silence filled the room. buck looked around the room, “you guys are on my side, right?” buck asked. “well, buck. eddie isn’t wrong, she asked to know about your past, and well, we told her.” bobby sighed, giving buck his usual stare. buck shakes his head, laughing in disbelief, “you could’ve left out that part.”
“no, buck. she asked why you nearly got fired, so i told her!” bobby is getting angry too now.
buck had had enough. he got up, slamming his hands on the table, “i think i should leave.”
his team don’t call after him. they just get back to what they were doing.

buck decided to drive off, he didn’t know where, he just put a random address in his gps. he just needed to clear his head after the argument. buck knew he was in the right, and yet his team, who were the people he trusted the most, turned on him.
2 hours into the drive, buck was getting onto less busy roads. he came to a road where he was the only one on the road. as he was coming towards the bridge, he noticed a white van behind him, the driver wasn’t visible. ofcourse, buck thought nothing of it, i mean, it’s just a van, right? so buck continued to drive. little did buck know, those were his last 7 seconds of breathing before the crash happened. it happened so suddenly. the van had sped up, it kept getting faster, then it bashed into the side of bucks car, throwing it upside down. then it reversed, and it drove off. it was a hit and run. buck was terrified, he caught his breath, then went to call bobby. surely he’d answer, buck could be dying!! buck picked up his phone, his hand shaking. it was dead. he couldn’t contact anyone. he was going to die in this car. he knew it. buck slowly and carefully undid his seatbelt, so that he’d have a better chance of surviving. someone had to come find him. it was his only hope. he just had to wait.
“i was supposed to be sent away, but they forgot to come and get me…” buck began singing. buck was a huge swiftie, if you couldn’t tell. it had been over 3 hours now, buck stopped attempting to get out the car, after all, it’s no use. he was still shaky from the crash. and then, he fell unconscious.
a few hours later, buck woke up to sirens wailing around him. bobby opened the door, “you’re okay kid, you’re okay.” buck sighed in relief, clinging onto bobby. suddenly, there was a huge bang. the guy who was driving the fan, was back. with a gun. bobby jumped back into the car, still holding onto buck. “im scared, bobby.”
“me too kid, but we can do this. we can make it through.” then, just as they thought they were safe, bobby felt something metal, and cold on his back. he knew what it was. it was the gun, pointing right at his neck. “it doesn’t have to end this way.” bobby shouted. there was silence.
“oh really? it doesn’t? not all stories have the perfect ending, nash.”
there was a gunshot.
“BOBBY!!”
“MAYDAY, MAYDAY, MAYDAY, CAPTAIN NASH IS DOWN.”
