Billy stabbed her a third and fourth time. She slumped back on the bed, breathing heavily as she went into shock. He couldn’t tell if she recognized his voice, but he really didn’t care. Wouldn’t make a difference. Fiona’s eyes trailed to her doorway, where she took a deep breath and attempted to scream. Before she could, Billy sank his knife again for the fifth and final time.
