Soulmates are a funny thing in L’manberg. Some people find theirs as soon as they leave the house. And some never find theirs at all. Some people hate their soulmate but can’t live without them. And some people are just born to be alone.
Theseus danger kraken innit has come to the decision that he is the last one of those. All of his friends got adopted and had nice foster families while they were in the system. Tommy how ever only got stuck up prick who treated him like a pet and stole his fuckin feathers. Being a fuckin phoenix was ass. The only person that Tommy ever considered flock was gone. Fucking techno just had to get moved from that hell house and leave tommy alone with dream . Dream was the bio son of Tommys last foster family. And it was very safe to say that dream was a manipulative fuck.
But that was 5 years ago now. Tommy had successfully ran from the system and was now no longer Theseus (though he does miss his name). Tommy is now Thomas Simons. A very young looking 17 year old who lives in the lowest district of L’manberg, Pandora.
And every day Tommy went to work at Starcuts. The best Salon there is. After his shift there he would say bye to Niki then head to P's cafe. He had to work two jobs just to stay a float.
On one of his very rare days off Theseus walked in to 'kinoko' a very nice and quiet book store that he went to every time he could.
"Hey Tom!" Karl said as normal. the brown haired human was one of Tommy's most cherished friends though he had to be careful around him as one of Karls boyfriend was a hero with dream and that selfish fuck would give anything to have Tommy back.
"Hey big man 'ows big Q doing with his new store in Las Nevada's?"
“Eh the same old same old. So a day off finally?” Karl said with a raise eyebrow.
“Niki and Sam ganged up on me and made me take a day off. Something about needing to take care of myself more. But eh. So any new Greek mythology books?” Tommy said walking over to karl's desk
“Well then I’ll have to send my thank yous to your bosses, you're far too over worked” Karl said, handing a book to tommy. “This one is about Theseus. Just got in yesterday.”
“Ughhhh, how dare you. You too? What is this with everyone and ganging up on me!? Thanks big man." Tom said, walking over to the bean bagged and dimly lit corner. Tommy read there for most of the day when he came. It felt like a nest and barely anyone ever came in here. So when he saw a pink haired brute in his spot, who's to say if he felt offended.
“Oi you’re in my spot wrongen. Move.” Tommy said to the pink haired man.
“What? Sorry but I’m pretty sure this corner isn’t yours .” the man drawled back.
This just made the scowl on Tommys face even bigger. “It is I always sit there now move prick..”
“No.” The man just went back to reading, laughing a little at tommy.
First he steals Tommy’s corner then he laughs at him to his face Tommy is about to jump this pink haired prick when he notices his book.
“That's a good one. Do you like Greek myths too?”
“Yeah, someone I met when I was younger got me into them. That kid was a blast. Anyways I’m Dave. Nice to meet you.”
“Tommy.prick.”
“Well Tommy looks like we’re gonna be spending today together I guess because I'm not moving.”
And dave was right they did spend the day together. And if tommy was happier then he had been in a long while whos to say? And once karl finally got both dave and tom out.
“You need a ride kid?” Dave asked, his eyebrow raised.
“First of all not a kid, Second, no. ever heard of stranger danger?” Tommy retorted and then they went their separate ways.
And if while Dave no Techno was watching Tommy leave with a feral grin on his face as he thought. ‘I finally found you my Theseus’ who knows because in Le'Manberg no one is ever safe from villains except for their possessions.
