    Dum Dum didn’t even grant Bucky the courtesy of letting him drink his first shot of whiskey before those outrageous words were falling out of his mouth.

    “Sooner rather than later,” he tacked on, adding insult to injury almost as an afterthought.

    “Excuse me?” Bucky asked, adopting a blank expression.

    Truthfully though, he’d known this was coming. Well, okay, maybe not this exactly, but he’d known something was coming. When his buddies had all started texting him at once (and all somewhat out of the blue) earlier that week, he’d known something was up.
