Rean felt sick when Crow stabbed him in the back, he was so angry at his bold-faced lies that his time at Thors meant nothing, and his snitting words, “That Crow doesn’t exist, sorry about it.” It was frightening in retrospect that Rean let a person like that in, he was ashamed that his juvenile crush on this charmingly-eccentric second year blinded him to all the signs. He wanted to yell at the Crow who betrayed him, who coldly wiped the floor with him without even breaking a sweat... but who the hell was this Crow sitting in front of him with a homemade fish burger? It was an almost cruel amalgamation of this dangerous stranger, and the Crow he thought he knew...
Crow always made fun of him for being a meddling mother hen, so he was going to meddle until it all made sense. He wouldn’t give up on him—he chose to believe in the Crow who never pushed him away.
