Microwave ready popcorn, cold refreshing drinks, and a good variety of candy decorate the coffee table in front of the large flat screen tv, and of course a few cozy blankets and pillows set up for my awaiting guests.
We can either go full classic horror movie marathon and start the spooky season right, or maybe find a good hidden gem to spark a late night conversation? Or just fill the room with laughter and smiles? My thoughts fight for dominance over how I want to define the rest of the evening. A sudden knock on my front door snaps me back to my senses. “Good, they here!” I remarked with glee. Jumping off the couch, I toss my phone aside, I head straight to greet them.
“Sam! Dean! Glad you guys didn’t get lost again!” I tease the tall glass of water towering over me, Sam alone blocks the entrance himself. Alongside him is Dean, the shorter but still drop dead gorgeous man staring down at me with those enchanting green eye's that I've gotten lost in a few more times than I want to admit.
“I wonder how.” Dean says underneath a not so subtle cough.
“Dude! You know exactly why." Sam rebuttals.
“Hey, that Looks good! ” Dean makes a Beeline towards the buffet of snacks. “Dean!” Sam scoffs.
"I’m sorry, my brother thinks more with his stomach than his actual brain." Sam apologized. “it's okay Sam. I bought extra just for him.” I reassure the handsome bookworm. We head over to Dean stuffing his face with popcorn.
