The revered Lightbringers of Solistia, a famed group of travelers consist of the famed dancer Agnea Bristarni, the president of the Partito and Roque company and founder, Partito Yellowil, the revered thief and bodyguard, Throne Anguis, the detective and inquisitor of the Church, Temenos Mistral, the fame scholar who discovered The One True Magic, Osvald V. Vanstein, the Sacred Guardian of Toto’haha, Ochette, the leader of renowned apothecary group Eir’s Apothecaries, Castti Florenz, and the king of Ku, Hikari Ku. They have seeked many things and conquered many things.. That is until one day..
“Oh Castti, how’s the preparations going for the new hospital in Timberain? Agnea asked.
“It’s going well, I am just in the final stages of everything being set up, thanks to Partitio.”
“Aww shucks Castti, glad to help out a fellow friend o’ mine after all.”
“Oh yeah my dear friend Partitio, did you by any chance receive a letter from anyone?” Temenos asked.
“There you go again detective, asking for the real questions as per usual.” Throne huffed.
“Now that I think about it, Partito, what is this letter you received and why did you call us here except Osvald and Ochette?” Hikari asked.
“Well.. er I got that letter from none other than Mister Alrond. Said it was er’ mission for 2 of us to undertake from what he says.”
“So, who is willing to offer for this mission?” Throne asked.
“I-I’ll go!” Agnea shouted, the room being silent.
“D-did I say something wrong?”
“It’s ok Agnea, I’ll accompany you for this mission. Partito, send our regards to Alrond and tell him that we’ll be in Wellgrove shortly.” Hikari asked.
“You got it, partner! I’ll get this done in two shakes of a cait’s tail!”
“Ahh, Prince Hikari and Agnea. I have been waiting for your arrival as well as Master Alrond.” Misha greeted them in front of the estate.
“Please, Hikari is fine. No need to worry about formalities.” Hikari reassured.
“Of course. Right this way you both.”
Agnea clutch on to Hikari’s sleeve acting very nervous. Hikari smiles back to cheer her up.
“Master Alrond, Agnea and Hikari are here.”
“Thank you, Misha. Now then.”
“Greetings Master Alrond, it’s nice to meet you.” Agnea cheerfully greeted.
“No need for formalities Agnea, Partito told me much about you both.”
“Now, about the mission. Misha, would you mind showing our guests what their mission is?” Alrond asked.
Misha went and grabbed disguises along with some intricate weaponry different from what Hikari and Agnea are used to.
“Now, your mission is to eradicate any of the remnants of the Blacksnakes’ traces, while being disguised as both maids and butlers. I also acquired some new weapons specifically for this mission in mind so pick whatever your heart desires. Any questions?”
“Who would be wearing which outfit?” Agnea asked.
“Ahh, you see I originally intended to follow traditional norms but considering your identities as the Lightbringers of Solistia, it only made sense that you, Agnea, should wear the butler outfit while Hikari wears the maid outfit. Don’t worry, Misha shall teach you well.”
Both Hikari and Agnea exchanged strange looks at each other, about the outfit choices that Alrond had assigned them but they decided to accept the mission as is.
“Understood.” Agnea and Hikari said at the same time, both blushing at the same time.
After the duo choose their weapons, they briefly try on the outfits.
“Umm, so how do I look, Agnea?” Hikari asked.
“You look pretty regardless of whatever you are wearing.” Agnea smiled.
“Misha sure knows his stuff, I’m surprised that he was originally from the streets.”
“I am surprised as you are Agnea. Anyways rest up, our mission begins tomorrow.”
“Alright, goodnight Hikari.”
Agnea can’t help but feel like a melting puddle when she sees Hikari.
“Oh, that’s an assault gun, should suffice for someone like you Hikari.” Misha noticed.
“He really looks so fierce while holding it.” Agnea giggled.
She doesn’t know how to feel, nor how to love.
