All Yours, Anonymous

Summary:

Tweek wanted to test his husband. He knew exactly what to do. A pseudonym to fool him.

He didn’t know what he got himself into.

Heavily inspired by Babooshka by Kate Bush.

Work Text:

Tweek wasn’t sure why he did it.

A morbid curiosity, maybe. Insecurities buried deep within him that he refused to acknowledge over the years as a married man. Seeing himself age alongside his husband, his once youthful features morphing into crow lines and saggy skin. Being out in public, watching younger men pass by Craig, shooting him looks of appreciation and his husband remaining oblivious like he always did even when they were teens.

So, one late night when Tweek knew his husband was deeply asleep, he took out a piece of paper and wrote a love confession, spraying a bit of his cologne, and signing it as anonymous; ending it with, “All yours.”

He sent it and addressed it to Craig Tucker.

He watched as his husband received the letter a few days later, his curiosity and confusion shifting into one of strange delight. Tweek watched as he took sips of his tea.

“Who’s it from?” he asked nonchalantly.

Craig hummed and shrugged. “I don’t know. It’s not important.”

Yet, he kept the letter.

It was all the confirmation Tweek needed to keep going.

So, for a month, Tweek watched as his husband received anonymous love letters and Craig kept every single one. With each one that Tweek wrote, the more he poured his heart out, feeling untamed between the lines. There was excitement when he confessed to Craig what he loved about him, what he would do to him if only he wasn’t a married man. The excitement would then burn and change into devastation every time his husband read the letters and kept them hidden like a well-kept secret.

Tweek slowly spiraled with every confession he sent and every letter his husband kept. Finally, fed up with Craig’s betrayal, he wrote one last letter—asking Craig Tucker to meet.

On the day the letter arrived, Tweek was sitting on the sofa with Craig. He saw his husband read it and a smile so wide—the same one he would always direct towards him—appeared.

“What is it?” he asked, trying to peer over his shoulder.

Craig shifted and got up, effectively blocking the letter. “Nothing. I’ll be going out later.”

“With the boys?”

“Something like that.”

When evening arrived, Tweek kissed his husband goodbye at the door and Craig left with one of their cars. He waited for a bit, making sure to give his husband enough time to leave their neighborhood block, before he got ready. He decided to wear a black coat with a hat to obscure his face, and shades. Enough so his husband wouldn’t notice it’s him at first glance.

As he drove to the location, his heart couldn’t help but nearly leap out of his chest. Once Tweek confronts him, Craig wouldn’t be able to deny the affair he had with this anonymous man. Tweek was heartbroken, of course he was. This was the love of his life. The first and only man he would ever love in this lifetime. But he couldn’t ignore the way Craig reacted to the letters or how Tweek felt about the issue.

He parked the car and glanced around the lot. He spotted Craig’s car immediately. Taking in a breath, Tweek steadied himself and stepped out.

He walked to the fountain that was in the middle of the park. As he got closer, he spotted him. He wasn’t hard to miss with his tall stature and handsome face. Craig aged like fine wine and Tweek—well, what his husband had done confirmed everything Tweek needed to know how Craig viewed him.

Somehow, someway, Craig knew he was coming because he turned to him. The sunrays painted his side profile in gold, and even from where Tweek stood he could see his vibrant green eyes.

“There you are,” rasped Craig and Tweek’s heart broke and raced at the same time when he saw those fond eyes on him. Before Tweek could respond, his husband reached him in five steps, cupped his cheeks, and bent down to kiss him.

It was feverish and desperate and Tweek couldn’t help the whimper that left his mouth as he kissed him back eagerly.

Craig pulled back first and Tweek blindly followed. He fluttered his eyes open after a while and watched his husband flicker his gaze all over his face.

“It’s always been you, Tweek Tucker.” Craig smiled and Tweek’s jaw dropped. “And it will always be.”

Craig kissed him once more and whispered, “I’m all yours, my love.”

Tweek fell in love with his husband all over again. “All this time…?” he asked weakly, his cheeks burning with embarrassment.

Craig nodded and Tweek placed his head on his chest, hearing his heart thumping wildly.

“Yes,” he confessed. “The cologne was a dead giveaway.” Tweek chuckled and buried his head on his chest. “But it was how you wrote about me, your feelings and desires…” Tweek squeaked when his husband’s hands began to wonder. “It was all familiar. There’s only one person in the world I know who would feel that way about me. The only one that matters.”

“But why did you play along?” Tweek pulled back and furrowed his brows.

“I wanted to stop, believe me.” Craig smiled, “But the passion and honesty in your letters were like when we were younger. As we grew older you began to shy away. I couldn’t understand why. I still don’t. But I want you to know one thing.”

Craig gripped Tweek’s chin and forced him to look up. He was unable to look away from those green eyes he fell in love with.

“I yearn for you deeply. I want you to look at me and me alone. I want to keep you locked away even against your own will, so I know you will never leave me. With every passing day that I see us grow older, I feel a deep satisfaction that you chose me to stay by your side until our last dying breath.” His grip tightened and Tweek panted, hot air fanning over Craig’s fingers.

“There is no one else I would want than you,” finished Craig, kissing his lips softly despite the possessiveness of his grip on Tweek’s hip and chin.

“Craig,” whimpered Tweek. He wrapped his arms over his husband’s neck and pulled him down. He whispered in his ear, “Take me home.” He bit his earlobe.

Despite having to leave one of their cars behind, Tweek laughed all the way home in delight. His husband completely ravished him throughout the night and Tweek allowed himself to become unhinged under the sheets.

Craig was right. Unconsciously, Tweek began to hide parts of himself. Perhaps he thought he was too old to be thinking and acting like a teenager experiencing arousal for the first time.

In the morning, his body aching and a stupefied yet pleasant smile on his face as he cuddled close to his husband, he realized that he had nothing to fear. Craig would always be there to catch him if he fell.
