Throughout the centuries the Ubuyashiki family had always had the responsibility of eliminating the demons. Although to be put on a podium and high position to those that have helped and become demon slayers, the Ubuyashiki have been weighed down with this responsibility. It is a curse. A punishment for allowing the spawn that was Muzan Kibutsuji to surface through life and into immortality. All those years ago back in 908, when he was born, and died, and then reborn. Then he evaded death again in 926. Where he should’ve died he gained immortality by consuming the blue spider lily. The monster that is Kibutsuji had disgraced his family and the Nobel blood that came with it. And as punishment the family line closest to the Kibutsuji’s must suffer for the blood lost and drank. Pools of innocents blood surround the Ubuyashiki’s for their ancestor’s sins. They will die in it, unsaved and cursed without ever putting a stop towards their sinner. That is the harsh truth the demon slayer corps doesn’t want to believe in.

The current leader of the demon slayer corps is Ushi Ubuyashiki, a man who was born into the Ubuyashiki family in 1439, married in 1455, and became a father in 1455 too. He won’t live long, and so he has been training his heir Futashiki Ubuyashiki since birth to take over his position.
The Hashira of this Era are proud and talented, more so than any other generation. All thanks to the Sun Hashira Yoriichi Tsugikuni, a man everyone respects and calls upon. Ubuyashiki too has come to respect this Tsugikuni. The other Tsugikuni is a Hashira, whom currently holds the Moon Hashira title. His name, Michikatsu Tsugikuni. Ushi has many other Hashira’s under his care, there’s the Stone Hashira, the Wind Hashira, the Flame Hashira, the Water Hashira and the Thunder Hashira. Although these are the strongest of the demon slayer corps force they are certainly not the only ones valuable. To Ubuyashiki, every life is precious, even those at the bottom of the corps.
