Work Text:
She looks at him with horror and wonder. He’s still sat in the chair, trying his best to eat the cookie Willow shoved into his mouth.
She was engaged, today.
He’s dangerous, and annoying, sometimes more annoying than dangerous, but he’s just…there’s a passion to him that’s just innate to his being.
When she was under the spell, it was electric, it was exciting, dangerous in a way that made her shiver. Made her….
Well, it was amazing.
Every touch made her curious, desperate for more, begging in a way that she’d never felt before.
And his kisses….
She wonders, if it was the spell that did that. Made her felt that way.
Satisfied her need for danger.
And that’s what it is, isn’t it?
Satisfying.
To slay.
To kill.
To kiss someone dangerous.
She’s never understood Faith, but the way she felt today, in his arms, the danger and excitement and horror, it was enticing in a way that she’s not sure she’s ever felt with Riley.
Nor with Angel. Not when he was good, at least.
But now, maybe she does understand how Faith could do these things, to live based on primal instincts. It’s terrifying, and wrong, and disgusting.
But it did feel good, to be close to something so dangerous. To stop running away for just one moment and have something different.
She wonders what he feels about it all.
It was passionate, and she liked it.
She’d never tell him that, would never hear the end of it, but she felt it. She can’t hide from that.
But, looking at him now, bound and gagged, functionally neutered, and yet more and more dangerous as they trust him more, she knows she has to try.
Maybe I just want to be married.
