Buffy learns of the apocalypse in LA and immediately rushes there to find badly-wounded Angel and Spike.
As they recover she vows to stay and fight by their side, but keeps her heart close to her chest. She's already dated them, after all, and after her vacation in Rome, she's ready to take a new shot at 'normal'. Angel isn't too inclined either, if he's learned anything, it's that he brings suffering to those closest to him. And Spike? Well... Spike's just along for the ride...
They'll find that life, however, frequently has plans of its own. And also perhaps figure out the mistery of those portals shimmering about, misteriously opening doors to other dimensions, pulling things through that don't belong.
Faith, Giles, Dawn, Willow and three junior slayers join them, and hopefully save the day. -
