Summary
A collection of Astarion's original poetry, in the canon of my long fic "Hunting Creatures" (https://archiveofourown.org/works/57819268).
I/Astarion wrote a poem for Chapter 20 of Hunting Creatures a while ago. We were subsequently inspired to continue adding to his oeuvre, presented here; one poem per chapter. They can be read as a companion to Hunting Creatures, or enjoyed on their own.
Primarily freeform, but Astarion might play around with more formal structure at some point (I do enjoy writing sonnets). We'll see. Many, if not most of these poems will be romantic, but not all of them. The fourth one is about a dead rat. A few are a little erotic (not the rat one, don't worry), hence the M rating for the work as a whole. I will indicate which individual poems those are in the initial notes.
