Summary
He goes back to when they were just kids living on the streets. It was storming and they had managed to find a small space to huddle underneath to sheath themselves from the rain, but it was too small for the both of them so Taehyun sat half out in the rain. Every time thunder crashed above them, Beomgyu would hold onto himself the exact same way, but then, Taehyun would hug him—pet through his hair, and tell him it'll be alright.
“Aw, don't close your eyes now. That just makes this more unfun,” Kai's voice rumbled down like a lightning strike, making Beomgyu cry even more. He doesn't want to look, he doesn't want this to be fun.
