“I am.” Her fingers continued to run through his hair and his eyes closed as he turned his face toward her skin, breathing deep. “Right now I want for nothing. Are you happy, beautiful man?”
“I’ve never been happier,” he replied, and his gaze turned inward as he drew a hand up her thigh, from knee to hip. “That’s true. That’s not an empty phrase. Sometimes even the Weave seems mundane, compared to the way you make me feel.”
