Work Text:

Crosshair woke up mid-sleep feeling the shivers of the cool night air on his body.

It was odd, as he had fallen asleep with a blanket on. So, trying to move and get a blanket wrapped around him once again only to find it hogged by a snoring Lurca Hound slumbering deeply and contently on Crosshair’s bed, the most of it having been annexed by the same sleeping dog.

“Oh come on!”

This want the first time either Crosshair had woken up from a nice and deep sleep feeling cold and almost falling off of the bed in the process having too little room to sleep on.

“Batcher! You have a nice and comfortable bed just over there.”

Crosshair tried to rouse the hound while getting a slight drowsy looking glance from Batcher as Crosshair kept on pointing at the doggy bed on the floor. Her own comfy bed for kark’s sake!

Alas Batcher only glanced at Crosshair once, yawning. The hound not even bothering to glance at her own bed nor making any effort to move. Simply making a yipping sound before turning to her other side and continuing snoring and drooling as she slept ever so soundly while continuing having the most wonderful dreams :D

Clearly the hound, Batcher was not intent on moving any time soon. Or ever.

Crosshair stared at Batcher for a long moment as if willing for the dog to move with shear willpower of his mind.

Alas no such luck. Batcher was not going to move rather moved closer to where Crosshair was, pushing him further to the edge of the bed.

“Great!” Crosshair threw his arms in the air in surrender. “Just karking great!”

Crosshair contemplated on his options. Short from going to lie in Batcher basket there really were no their options but to share the bed once again. But he needed some room at least!

“Move!”

Crosshair ordered before staring to push the hound further to the other side of the bed to get more room but also his blanket from beneath the dog. Finally managing to get it with lots of effort, settling against the sleeping Batcher for warmth.

Batcher only making a whimpering sound, but continuing her snoring impossibly loud.

“This is great, just kriffing great!”

Crosshair put his arm around the hound, hugging the hound tightly, making Batcher’s noise subsiding somewhat.

Crosshair though, making a mental note to discuss the sleeping arrangements with Batcher with the others in the morning. As they really needed to share the fun filled Batcher sleepovers as a family, not just Crosshair getting all the fun! (sarcastically)
