   Summary

   Aelora Targaryen, forced into marriage with Aegon II, is far from enthused about the future that has been thrust upon her. When her new husband flaunts his many infidelities in front of all of Westeros along their wedding tour, her valiant effort to hold her chin high and bear it suddenly feels like too much, bringing her closer to Aegon’s aloof younger brother Aemond, who in an odd twist of fate, seems to be her only true ally at court.
   Unable to stay away from each other they soon learn that the only thing more dangerous then being together, is being apart.
