I alone knew the end of everything.The world changes after death. There is the inexplicable freedom that can only be felt when hanging above the clouds, the light from cities far beyond the gaze below, and the stars shone brilliantly unabated.
The air here was thin.
In this night sky, without a single living being inhabiting it, I reigned over it all.
I allowed gravity to embrace me once again, and I tumbled—back first, through the fog of the clouds. I reached out, phantom winds tracing the haze like fingers should, until I was tossed back into the realm of the living.
The night sky faded. Before me was the pollution of light called the city of Seoul.
The roar of the wind was my companion and the city's concrete came up at me with blinding speed.
I only welcomed it.
Nothing could hurt me.
The world moved on without me, and I moved on without the world.
This is what awaited us all.
