Summary
Joel is searching for someone he has lost long ago, to the sands and the monsters of this world. Can he find her? Will he survive long enough to see her, one more time?
Etho is running from his past, and running to... something else. He's a survivor, and running is what he does. When it comes time to face his worst fears, will he run? Or will he fight.
Gem is tired of sand. She's tired of fighting for her life, of brushing dust from her hair, and of being constantly worried that her brother is going to die in front of her eyes.
Fwhip is worried. After being separated from his sister for years, he can't tell if he knows her at all anymore. They've both changed. They've all changed.
Grian is determined to make it out of this. He's made it this far, why can't he keep going? He's not going to lose to a stupid Zombie. It's not going to happen.
Scar can't remember. There's something there, in the back of his mind, that he can't reach. He doesn't know where he's from, nor where he's going, but he will survive. He has to.
