“Tch, that idiot.” Liguang scoffed. It has been only a few days since he got off the boat from the dreaded prison island, yet he was just as shocked to learn that their conductor was none other than Kiba.
It has been far too long since the last time he saw him. No matter the fact that he still despises him, his heart yearns for him as if he was a missing piece of the puzzle.
“My dearest Liguang, it has been awhile.” Kiba remarked.
“I-“ He wasn’t sure how to approach him, the longing lasted for far too long.
“Xiaoya..it has been far too long.” Liguang remarked.
“Hahahaha, you are still using that name for me? Go on ahead, you can use it.” Kiba smiled.
“Hey Liguang, do you think we are happy in this life?” Kiba asked.
“Xiaoya, why do you ask such trivial questions?” Liguang scoffed.
“Never mind, forgive my ignorance.” He laughed softly.
He locked eyes with Kiba, as time was suspended. This fleeting moment came at a price, a price he was willing to accept.
“Thank you, my friend.”
