Summary
Under layers of denim and cotton, Robin bore the scars of a war they’d once fought together. Nancy remembered scorched skin and singed fingers. She knew which clusters of freckles had been severed by rough falls and demobat fangs. And yet, Robin seemed completely unscathed in the wake of it all and didn’t carry the weight of loss the way the rest of Hawkins had.
