   Summary

   It's 1916, and, giddy with excitement, second-lieutenants James Potter and Sirius Black have arrived at the front line in Belgium. At 17 years-old, they are both underage, and their captain, hardened 18 year-old Remus Lupin is not happy to have them in his company. Between the exploding shells and the machine-gun fire, James Potter worries about his friend in another regiment, Peter Pettigrew, whilst Sirius Black wrestles with his growing crush on his "definitely" straight captain. As the Battle of the Somme looms over them all and the two newbies start to discover what war is really like, Sirius and James struggle to conceal the one big secret they have: they're wizards and have both illegally brought their wands with them.
