The door made a satisfying click as Chuuya entered his apartment. He placed his coat down on the familiar stand, and pulled off his shoes. Chuuya's body felt itself being torn apart from the inside, it was an uncomfortable but well known feeling within him. He stepped into the kitchen with shaking legs and began pouring himself a glass of wine to calm down.
This small moment of calm was interrupted by a buzz from the gingers phone. Mackeral. Chuuya opened up the message and let his eyes drift over it. He was coming over. His hands began to shake at the idea of having to interact with anyone else today but what choice did he have? He took in a final deep breath before placing his phone back into his pocket and began quickly changing into more comfortable clothes as fast as he could.
Dazai knew Chuuya was having a rough day, he had a way of finding these things out. A bright shining sun beemed down through the clouds adding a comforting warmth onto the boys ofherwise cold skin. Dazai knocked on Chuuyas door rhythmically. "Chuuya! Open up!" Dazai swayed from one foot to the other as he waited to be let in.
From the moment the door opened, Chuuya already felt sick to his stomach. He could bearly muster up a sentance. "What do you want?" Dazai let himself in despite Chuuyas unwelcoming greeting.
He pulled off his coat and hung it where Chuuya would want it to be hung, unusual but welcomed. Dazai turned to look at Chuuya. "I brought you plain bread and rice. Do you want some? I did't cook it don't worry." Dazai pulled out two small containers.
Kunikida had really done a good job with cooking the rice. Chuuya eyed it through the conatiners and slowly took them into his hands. "No need to say anything, I know your having a hard time. Are the texture and smell of my clothes ok?" Dazai smiled as he spoke in his softened voice.
Chuuya slowly nodded his head and held the containers close to himself. He turned around and went into his bedroom, switching on the light and sitting down to eat there. Dazai peeked his head through before letting himself in once more. He turned on Chuuyas TV for him and put on Bluey, a show Chuuya often watched in his free time when he needed to regress or calm down.
A few minutes later and Chuuya was calmly eating in Dazais lap, having his hair played with and being overall panpered. "I love you so much, Chibiko." Dazai smiled and continued to rub the sides of Chuuyas body. He loved being able to take care of Chuuya when he was at his most vulnerable. It was once again another sign of trust and love, not to mention Chuuya was adorable when he was like this. Chuuya ate up the last of his rice and placed the container down. "Oh? Are you all done, baby?" Dazai kissed Chuuyas head and placed the, now empty, container off onto the bedside table with the other.
He pulled him down into the bed and let Chuuya rest against his chest. "Don't worry, no one is going to hurt you, sweetheart. I am here for you" Chuuya's eyes began to flutter closed as Dazai continued to praise and comfort him. He drifted off into his dreams in the taller mans arms, feeling warm and loved.
When Chuuyas eyes opened up again he found a small note detailing that Dazai had gone to pick up breakfast for Chuuya frim his favourite cafe. A small smile found it's way onto Chuuyas cheeks. He set the note down and got back into bed to try and catch a few more moments of rest before his lover came back with the breakfast.
