Summary
After a sudden attempt to abduct her, Airi tries to run away only to bump into Shigaraki Tomura. While she is utterly terrified about it, her abductors seem to be even more terrified than her as they flee. As if it isn't the scariest night of her life, she also realizes her personal belongings are not with her... so she has no choice but to accept Shigaraki's offer to find temporary shelter under his roof.

“That was my first time too, yes,” Airi admitted, through a laugh. “Why, was I really bad?” The point here should be that he didn’t give her enough time to know whether she was being a dead fish or just too shocked and nervous to react. Everything happened within five minutes. Her skills could use some improvement in any case.
He looked sharply back at her and then away again. “Not worse than me,” he sighed again. Airi was back to shaking with laughter. They were both horrendously bad at this, she supposed.
“I have a whole weekend free,” she said, creeping up on top of him mischievously, “to get it right.” She reached up to cup his face lovingly. “Unless you want us to go play Portal 2 instead.”
“Very funny,” he said dryly, and his hands locked her into a tight embrace as if to keep her from getting any weird ideas of leaving the bed. That was the first time she saw him turn down video games.
Relief washed through her at the easy way he reached for her. It made her so indescribably happy.
Giving him those gloves really changed things. She suspected he hadn’t known what to do about all of that. He seemed like he’d run into the same dead end over and over. Like a vicious cycle.
Touching her bare-handed meant he would kill her. Touching her with those old gloves meant he’d have to wear his sins and past again, and it would’ve killed him. And in between was the crushing pressure of that coiled tangle of feelings and desire inside him.
Today, though, they’d managed to break the barrier. He was free to love her the way he would have if his life hadn’t been so atrocious. He was free to touch her the way he would’ve if he were born… normal.
And he didn’t need to thank her out loud. Within those next few hours, gratitude was gushing out of him. It brought her to tears later that night. He held her gallantly and lovingly, like he was taking care of his most secret treasure.
It was nothing she’d ever imagined experiencing. But it felt like she had somehow unlocked that side of him and was privately benefitting from it. Those hands, the hands of the world’s worst ruination and darkest destruction, caressed her with gentle care and loving curiosity. Because she had allowed him to.
All Airi could do was try to respond and reciprocate with the same as much as possible.
Tenko wanted to know how all of it worked, of course. She’d long learned it was deeply ingrained in his nature to want to understand and excel at whatever he’d set himself to learn. Especially if it involved perfecting a certain skill.
Airi didn’t complain about it. It was the weirdest, happiest, most fun weekend of her life.
