Asher knocked on the door to the Oak residence, patiently waiting for it to open. They were going out with Kipo to the park, just to hang out, not like a date... Heh.
The door opened, revealing Kipo, already ready to leave. "Hi, Ash!"
"Hey, Kipo," Asher greeted back, letting themselves get wrapped in a hug by the excited purple girl. "Do you have everything you need?"
"Yup, I'm good to go."
As Kipo took a step out on the porch, Wolf made her way down the stairs with a bag of dog food in her hands.
"Hello," she waved, bending down to tie her sneakers.
"Hey, shortie," Asher said teasingly, making Wolf frown.
She wasn't short. Okay, maybe a little, but she didn't like it when people commented on it. Her height didn't determine her, and she could do a lot more stuff than what a tall person could. She huffed in annoyance.
Asher snorted when Wolf frowned at them. Kipo gave Asher a look, knowing that Wolf always got irritated when she was called short. She'd made the mistake of calling her that only a week prior, which had resulted with getting a bruise on her arm.
Therefore, Kipo decided to distract her little sister with something else. "Are you gonna hang out with your corgi's?"
Wolf nodded, ignoring Asher's amused expression as she turned to her big sister. "Yeah, I'm gonna try to teach them how to roll around and play fetch. I was thinking about taking a shortcut through the park."
Kipo gasped. "We're also going to the park! Why don't you walk with us?"
Wolf lit up at the suggestion. She would never say no to getting to hang out with her sister, and... Asher...
Wolf's eyes went to Asher to glare at them. "Fine. And I'm not short!"
Asher only laughed.
