Awaiting the Arrival

Summary:

Thor and Loki await the arrival of their new sibling.

Work Text:

"Thor?" Loki asked in a whisper, as he observed the older blonde boy, who stood stalwart, not pacing the door to Eir's chambers as he did.
"Aye, brother?"
"What was it like when I was born?"
"Oh, Loki." Thor said, oddly evasive. "I've known you only since you were a baby. You were a surprise..."
"A good surprise?"
"Of course! Mother let me hold you... remember?"
"How would I, if I was a baby?" Loki replied with wit, but in a soft tone. Thor ruffled Loki's black hair as Eir's door, to their Mother, and probable new baby brother, opened.
