Look a Little Deeper

Summary:

"Man, I knew sensei was a bit boring, but I didn’t know he was

this

boring,” Shoko sighed, and Satoru could understand a bit. On one hand he was a bit happy they didn’t find anything scandalous since Satoru would 100% not want to share it with these two, or at least not right away, but also seeming to find nothing now that he did have full access to Yuji’s phone made Satoru feel bad for going through it. But only a little though

~~~
Yuji-sensei accidentally leaves his phone behind and his wonderful students are just a little bit curious is all~~
Work Text:
“This is a bad idea,” Suguru mumbled out, leaning onto Shoko in the process, looking over her shoulder at the device Satrou was in the process of trying to unlock.
The smaller burnett let out a huff, “It's fine; it's not like we’re doing anything bad. Just taking a small peek.”
“Ya Suguru, stop being a baby, plus you know you want to look through it as much as we do." Starou said, waving the now unlocked phone back and forth.
Suguru rolled his eyes in repose, but they all knew it was true.
When Satrou had noticed that Yuji-sensei had left his phone on his desk when he was called away by Yaga during class. The three third years were quick to circle the device, with Shoko being the first to snatch it off the table, punching a random pin into the phone. Said pin did not work, so Satoru was the next one to snatch it out with a quick ‘gimme that’ trying his own pin, the first being wrong but the second unlocking the device.
‘3212’ a number from all their birthdays, Satoru found it cute but was definitely going to have to tell Yuji that it was too easy to get into his phone with that. Of course, without mentioning how Satoru found out about it.
Now that the phone was unlocked, Shoko tried to snatch it from Satoru, but the other moved it out of reach, sticking his tongue out.
"Nuh, uh, I unlocked it, so I get to hold it.”
Shoko stuck her tongue out in repose.
“Whatever, just hurry up, click some things before sensei gets back." Shoko gestured to the phone.
As curious as they all were, they also didn’t want to feel the wrath of their teacher if they were caught, the memory of what happen last time the three were on the receiving end of their sensei's rather sent a small shiver up Satoru's spin and a small throb of pain down his leg. So Satoru was quick to move the phone in between them all before scanning the home screen.
The home screen background was a photo of Yuji with two other familiar faces. To the right was a girl with a bob cut and black leather eye patch over her left eye holding up a peace sign. On the other was a guy who put Satoru's own bed hair to shame and who looked like he liked to be anywhere but between his two best friends. Though anyone that got to know the three knew that Fushiguro enjoyed the two's company even if he didn’t always show it.
Satrou felt a ping of jealousy at the photo but was quick to push it down, looking around at the apps on the phone. There wasn’t much out of the ordinary; even when swiping on the screen to look at the rest of the apps, there were only a couple that didn’t seem to be the default apps the phone came with. One being a game app Satoru has seen Yuji play sometimes when they were driving to missions.
Another being one Satoru remembered recommending to the older. It was a app that help find and recommend places to eat close to where the user was at.
Satoru let out a huff at the lack of finding anything interesting. Seeming to sense his friends discouragement, Suguru made a suggestion.
“Try looking at his photo albums,” Suguru pointing to said app on the phone.
“Good idea. Let's see if sensei has any interesting photos." shoko nodded
Satoru, listening to the other two, clicked the app, bringing up several albums full of photos. The first two were labeled 'my students ♥’ and ‘BFFS ☻’ so Satoru, being curious on what photos Yuji-sensei had of him, clicked the first one first.
The album opens up showing several photos of not just the third years but of all students from the school. Satrou recognized many of the photos, remembering seeing Yuji take them or Yuji trying to be sneaky when taking them, but of course Satoru always saw thanks to the six eyes.
There was one photo of the three enjoying some ice cream from an ice cream shop Satoru had ‘asked’, more liked bribed, Yuji to go to during one of their rare days off together, but once the other two got wind of the two going out they deiced to tagged along despite the death glares Satoru gave them during the ride their.
Another was of the two second years, the two sleeping on the training ground bleacher together. The two looked a bit roughed up, with scratches on their faces and dirt on their clothes, so Satoru assumed this was after a training session with Yuji.
Yuji is often the one to teach most of the students hand-to-hand combat since it's what he specializes in.
"Oooh, definitely going to have to send this one to me,” Shoko mentioned as she pointed to the photo of the sleeping second years.
“Gonna use it to blackmail them into doing your homework again?” Suguru said with a playful tint to his words as he looked down at Shoko.
“Hmmm maybe.”
Satoru couldn’t help the snort he let out since they all knew that's exactly why she wanted the photo. Satoru made a mental note to send it to their group chat later, having the other two save the photo to their own phones before deleting from the chat so Yuji wouldn’t know, though honestly, they could probably just convince their teacher he sent it on accident (again) since its not the first time their teacher has sent an accidental photo of the other students or even himself to the chat. Thou their teacher has never sent anything 'scandals’ as Shoko says, but he has deftly sent 'blackmail worthy' photos of the second year or even some the new first years to the chat before, when he really meant to send it to the teacher group chat or so Yuji says.
Satoru resumed scrolling down the album a bit further and finding a couple more blackmail-worthy photos of the all the students—even a couple the three ended up teasing each other about—Satoru decided to change albums, skipping the second one since he had a feeling even if they did find something on their sensei’s best friends if they tried to use them they all might get a nail shoved in them somewhere.
As Satoru scrolled through the other albums, nothing seemed to jump out at the three, everything else just seemed to be photos of animals or trees and such. The first couple being the only ones with people in it.
"Man, I knew sensei was a bit boring, but I didn’t know he was this boring,” Shoko sighed, and Satoru could understand a bit. On one hand he was a bit happy they didn’t find anything scandalous since Satoru would 100% not want to share it with these two, or at least not right away, but also seeming to find nothing now that he did have full access to Yuji’s phone made Satoru feel bad for going through it.
But only a little though.
Satrou was getting ready to just send the couple photos Shoko had asked for why said person got her phone out to save the photos, but both stopped as their third let out a humming sound.
Both looked to their classmate, who had his head tilted to the side, seeming to think about something.
“Have something you like to share with the rest of the class there?” Satoru asked, tilting his own head to the side
"Hmm, depends. Can I borrow that for a minute?” Suguru stretched out his arm, making a grabbing motion with his hand towards Satoru, who in response narrowed his eyes as he looked over the rims of his glasses at the other.
"Hmmm, dunno, that depends on what you’re going to do.”
“Just gimme the phone, Satoru. I promise to give it back right after you, big baby,” Suguru said, mimicking the end part of what Satoru had called him earlier.
Satoru glared at his best friend a bit longer but then handed the phone over to him. Once Suguru got the phone, he brought it close to himself so the other two couldn’t see exactly what the other was doing, though after about a minute of Suguru holding the phone, it made a small buzz sound, which Suguru made a curious humm in response to.
“What did you do?” both Satoru and Shoko asked in unison as they both squished themselves next to Suguru to look at the phone still in his hand.
The phone itself didn't seem to change, still on the photo album app, but now at the very bottom of the list was a new album labeled with nothing more than a light blue heart, and the preview image was a close-up of Satoru's own face.
“I know with some phones there's a feature that lets you hide photo albums. I didn’t know if this was one of those phones, but it seems it is." Suguru answered the two shimming around a bit so the two weren't pressed so close to him why also moving the phone down a bit so Shoko could see it better.
“Oh~ and how do you know that's a feature, huh? Suguru~” Satoru teased his friend, looking at the other, who did nothing in return but gave him a glare that just made Satoru’s grin widen even more. Making yet another mental note to try to sneak the others phone again at some point, though seeming to know just what he was thinking, Suguru let out a small growl followed by a ‘don’t even think about it’ before turning back to the phone in had and clicking the new album.
The new album had nothing in it but photos of Satoru. Like Several upon several photos of Satoru.
A photo of Satoru smiling why talking to Suguru, another of Satoru smiling why eating a sweet one that Satoru recognized as the one Yuji had brought them all a couple weeks ago. Another one that caught Satoru's attention was one of him sleeping soundly on sensei’s shoulder in the back of a car. Said photo Satoru had a small inkling he knew when it was taken. He was pretty sure it was taken after a mission with just him and sensei, one they had gone on last month.
The mission initially consisted of taking down three grade one’s but once the two got there they found out that the grade ones where actually one grade one and two special grades. It was still nothing Satoru couldn’t handle, but Satoru being himself had tried to show off. Though a bit too much even for himself this time around cause by the end of the mission, Satoru was extremely tired. He tried his best not to fall asleep on the ride back, always trying to enjoy any alone time he got with Yuji. But no matter how hard he tried to keep his eyes open, the warmth of the body next to him mixed with the movement of the car had slowly rocked Satoru asleep. Though before the depths of sleep could sink their claws deep into Satoru, he remembered feeling a warm hand pulling him close, then that same calloused hand had slowly started to cradle through his hair.
The memory had warmth spreading across Satoru's face.
The next photo was almost the same as the last but it was taken at a different angle, showing both Satoru's sleeping face now leaning on Yuji’s shoulder and Yuji's smiling at the camera as his others hand was tangled in Satoru’s hair. The smile was a soft, tender one that had Satoru wanting to returning the same smile as he looked over the photo.
Shoko let out a low whistle why looking at the phone “Well, as much as this is closer to what I wanted to find, seeing so many photos of Satoru is hurting my eyes.” Shoko said scrunching up her face as if she really was disgusted at all the photos.
“OI!! Your just jealous because this just proves that you guys were wrong,” Satoru said, feeling a large grin spread across his face.
“Told you guys I had a chance with sensei, yet you guys never wanted to believe me.”
"Ugh, you were right, this was a bad idea, cause now he's going to be insufferable about this for god knows how long,” Shoko turned to Suguru, who looked just as tired as shoko now felt. Both knowing full well they would not be hearing the end of just how ‘they were wrong and I was right’ from Satoru and said third snatched the phone out of Suguru’s hand, not that he put up much of a fight.
Satoru scrolled through the album, surprised at just how many photos there were of just him, feeling as warmth on his face grow a bit at some of the more embarrassing ones he found. The other two just roll their eyes at their friend who was acting as a love-sick puppy.
"Okay, lover boy, we get how happy you are to see your crush likes you back, but sensei will probably be back any minute now, so send me those photos of the second years to me and put the phone away before we get caught,” Shoko made a motion with her hand for Satoru to hurry up, which he just responded with a huff.
Though Satoru had a feeling she was right since none of them had really been paying attention to just how long they were going through their teacher's phone till the door to the classroom opened.
The three students froze on the spot at the sound, slowly looking up to the door that now held their teacher, his large farm taking up most of it, width-wise at least.
“Sorry again about that guys Yaga-san-- What are you guys doing?” Yuji asked, at first sounding very apologetic, though that soon seemed to turn to curiosity as he entered the room and his students huddled closer together, and Satoru made a quick movement, putting his hands behind his back.
If it had been anyone else, the students are sure they would just assume the three were just talking before their teacher had returned, but thanks to it being Yuji, who has been with said students for the past three years and knows his students like the back of his hand and some times seeming to know his students better then themselves.
The three looked at each other, having a silent conversation built from years of knowing each other and having there fair share of situations where they had to save one or the other from a teacher.
‘What do we do now?’ Shoko eyes darted between the two boys, who both just shrugged in return.
‘Told you bad idea’ Suguru said, eyes making a movement to Satoru’s back.
'Yes, dumbass, we know, but how do we get out of ‘this bad idea’?” Satoru glared at Suguru, hoping his quick-witted friend could think of something.
The other seemed to think for a minute before he seemed have come up with must something as his eyes grew wide a bit as he turned to look at Shoko, who seemed to figure out what the other had in mind, as after a minute she nodded to Suguru, who nodded in return before turning back to their teacher. Who was still standing close to the door but now had his head tilted to the side in confusion, almost like a confused puppy, Satoru thought.
"Well, you see, sensei Satoru here has something he likes to tell you,” Suguru said as he moved to the side a bit why putting a hand on Satoru’s back.
“Yup, something really important that he even asked us how to help tell you,” Shoko nodded in agreement as she moved to place her own hand on Satoru’s back.
The next thing Satoru knew, he was being pushed forward between the two, causing Satoru to stumble a bit, not expecting the push.
“Hey!!” Satoru shouted out as he straightened himself back up and turned to the two who were now moving to the other end of the classroom, inching closer and closer to the door and before he could yell at the two for pushing him, a rough but soothing voice asked,
“hey? Is that my phone?”
Satoru turned to look back at Yuji, who was now looking at the device in Satoru’s hand, the screen now facing up, thanks to his stumbling, showing the last photo Satoru had been looking at. The photo on screen was the one of Satoru sleeping in the car with Yuji holding the boy close. Satoru was about to send the photo to himself, but now looking at the photo and then looking back at his sensei, whose face was almost the same shade as his sakura hair had Satour's own face blooming a almost matching shade of pink.
Satoru knew right away that there was no way he was getting out of this now, and even worse, Yuji knew that they gone thru his phone and had even found the secret album of Satoru in it. Even worse said student had seen the many photos that Yuji had taken of him.
Satoru wasn’t really expecting to confront his teacher this quickly about his feelings for Satoru, let alone Satoru’s own 'mutual' feelings now, hoping he get some time to come up with a much better way to tell Yuji but then again, this was Satoru’s last year at Jujutsu Tech and he had ample time to come up with something by this point, so he guess it was better now rather than later.
Satoru swallowed around the lump in his thought before telling Yuji in a shaky voice.
“You know, Sensei, you really need a better password.”
Notes:
got this idea from a phone I used to have
It had a setting that let you have secret photo albums in your gallery app
All you had to do was hold the screen in the app to get the albums to show up
I never used it since I would have forgot all about the albums since if I can't see things I forget their there.
