Summary
Shadowheart has introduced Lae'zel to the notion of an anniversary, as their first is on the horizon. Lae'zel decides she will try her hand at making some anniversary art. Meaningful, symbolic, and sweet.
After shopping for pigments and stumbling on one Shadowheart chooses that confuses her at first, they get into a small argument. Shadowheart is the obvious winner. But their bout with it quickly gets physical.
Though the argument is short lived before Lae'zel throws in the towel, it will put Shadowheart in a mood, and off to the bedroom they will go to take care of that.
By the end of it, they sleep, though on separate internal timers. A fortunate happenstance, as they both still have anniversary gifts to finish up.
In the late morning, Lae'zel gifts Shadowheart her beautiful artwork. Cue hugging, kissing, tears, and lovey-dovey words.
