When one wanted Adam to be open to discussing something new, one had to pique his interest. Otherwise, Adam would avoid the discussion in favour of something more entertaining.

Oh, I bet that’s it, you got with brawn-without-brains and realised you liked how much force he could spank you with!” Adam worked himself up quickly, the speculations and questions coming so thick and fast Kaoru didn’t even hear half of them properly.
