   Summary

   The driver raises an eyebrow, but says nothing, and starts driving immediately. Leaving Armand behind felt good for a fleeting moment - but because his life is a bad movie, he makes the bad decision of glancing off to the side, and swears he sees him standing on the sidewalk next to his apartment in his long black coat. Then, a city bus passes by, and the next time Daniel gets a glance at the pavement in the rearview mirror, it’s completely empty.

   “Eat shit.” Is the only thing he decides to grumble under his breath as the car turns down a busy street, lights blinding him into looking away.

   Daniel really shouldn't be surprised that Armand follows him even after he leaves Dubai, and really shouldn't be surprised that he decides to follow him across the country either. He also really shouldn't be surprised that Armand has hidden more things from him than he had previously thought.
