   Summary

   My name is Mark Vela. I was born on January 8, 1969. I was killed - embraced, as we say - sometime between November 1999 and December 1999; I am not sure exactly when and it is likely I will never know.

   With the embrace comes immortality. I plan on living quite a long time, and despite my young age I have already gathered that memories are something valuable, and something one must work to remember.
