“Is that right?” Michael asked with a sly smile; Mike could feel the heat rushing to his face as his alpha and beta talked about him like he wasn’t even there.
“Oh yes,” Edgar said with a little laugh. “I can’t believe he never told you! It’s been a little fantasy of my Mikey-bear’s for a long time now. You’d be surprised how many times bitching came up in our dirty talk– he’s always wanted to be taken and claimed.” Mike couldn’t even argue because it was the truth; he always wanted that and now that he had it he thought the desire would go away but it didn’t.
“Well,” Michael said as casually as if they had just been discussing Base business instead of… everything they had been discussing. The only thing giving away what their discussion had been about was the possessive grip he had on Mike’s thigh and the glint of desire dancing in his eyes. “I think we can work with that.”
