When Susato and Ryuunosuke had boarded their ship along with Professor Mikotoba, they had reminded him to write them and to continue meeting Sholmes and Iris. Kazuma had promised that and stuck to it.

Well, between the demons he was still saddled with, guilt, regret and anger, as well as his need to learn, visits and correspondence had been sparse. Not for a lack of trying on Iris’ part.
Which really didn’t help with the guilt.---
