“Miles must have needed you pretty bad, you’re barely ever late.” Sonic laughs nervously, messing with his quills out of embarrassment.
“He was repairing the Tornado, and I guess when I built it back in the day, the propellers were shit. He saw it and asked for help since the parts were super outdated. It was a whole thing.” Sonic explained, shrugging and relaxing back into the chair.
“Why didn’t you ever replace them if they were shit?”
“Well, I thought maybe Tails would get new ones. Maybe it flew over his head.” Sonic waggles his eyebrows at his joke, and Shadow has half a mind to breathe out a puff of air in amusement.
“That was terrible.”
“You’re the one who laughed, man.”
