My heart

Summary:

Мое сердце (my heart) I think?

Work Text:

As they lay together after a long day, Sidney nestled comfortably in Geno's arms, she felt the warmth of his embrace and the steady rhythm of his heartbeat beneath her ear. The room was quiet, just the soft hum of the city outside filtering in through the windows. It was in these moments, when everything else fell away, that she felt closest to him.

Geno gently brushed a strand of hair from her face, his fingers lingering on her cheek. “*Мое сердце*,” he murmured, his voice soft and full of affection.

Sidney smiled, recognizing the familiar phrase. Geno had been calling her *my heart* in Russian for a while now, and every time he said it, it made her heart flutter just a little. “You know I love when you call me that,” she whispered, tilting her head up to look at him.

Geno smiled down at her, his eyes warm and full of emotion. “You are,” he said simply, his accent thickening slightly, as it often did when he was being sincere. “You always my heart, Sid.”

Sid reached up, gently cupping his face in her hand. “And you’re mine,” she replied, her voice just as tender.

Geno leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead. “Always,” he whispered against her skin, wrapping his arms a little tighter around her, as if he never wanted to let go.

In that moment, everything felt right. The world outside could wait. Right now, it was just the two of them, holding onto each other, their hearts beating in perfect sync.
