Work Text:
Geno knows Sid all too well, especially when it comes to her hidden sweet tooth. Despite her strict diet and self-imposed rules, she always has a soft spot for desserts—especially chocolate cake. The thing is, Sid would *never* order it herself. She’s too disciplined for that. But every time Geno orders a slice, she can't resist eyeing it like a hawk, sneaking little glances his way, waiting for him to offer her some.
One night after a big win, the team went out to celebrate, and Geno made sure to order a big slice of rich chocolate cake for dessert. Sid was sitting next to him, as usual, sipping her water, pretending not to care. But Geno could see the way she kept glancing at the cake as the waiter brought it over. He smirked, knowing exactly what was going to happen.
“You want some?” he asked, holding out his fork.
Sid shook her head immediately. “No, I’m good.”
Geno laughed, cutting a piece of the cake and slowly bringing it to his mouth. “You say no, but I know you want.”
Sid rolled her eyes, but her resolve was already crumbling. “I don’t need any. I’m fine.”
“Is okay, Sid. You can have some. I order cake because I know you want it.” He grinned, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
Sid shot him a look. “I don’t—”
“Here,” Geno interrupted, cutting off a generous bite and holding it up to her, his fork hovering just in front of her mouth. “For you.”
Sid hesitated for a second before sighing dramatically and leaning forward to take the bite. The second the chocolate hit her tongue, she couldn’t help the little smile that spread across her face. It was perfect, rich, and decadent—everything she loved but would never admit to.
“Told you,” Geno teased, grinning wider as he watched her savor the bite. “You always want my cake.”
Sid, trying to hide her pleasure, scowled. “I don’t always want your cake.”
Geno raised an eyebrow, cutting another piece and holding it out for her again. “You lie. Here, take more.”
Sid tried to play it off, but she couldn't resist. She leaned forward again, taking the second bite, and Geno laughed triumphantly. “See? Sweet tooth, just like I said.”
Sid shook her head, trying not to laugh with him. “You’re insufferable.”
“But you love it,” he teased back, sliding the plate toward her. “Go on, Sid. Have more. I got it for you.”
She hesitated only for a moment before picking up the fork herself. “Fine. Just a little more.” But the smile on her face told him he’d made the right call.
