Summary
Kate Carter was a star student at the University of Oklahoma’s school of meteorology - her research and projects were promising, deeming her as the 'Tornado Tamer'.
Tyler Owens was a star student at the University of Arkansas’ school of meteorology. Studying the same topic - the ability to tame a tornado and disrupt its process - naturally leads the two storm chasers to be fated rivals.
They often find themselves after the same goals, after the same storms. Though, one day, Kate and her crew beat Tyler’s crew to the punch.
Though, Kate is the only one to make it out that fateful day.
Tyler Owens would have never imagined he’d ever feel such a tug in his heart at the sight of Kate Carter, limping across the damage left in the path of an EF5, alone, as blood trickled down her left leg.
