Summary
Tav had worked at the Last Hope for half a decade at this point, and she had never seen anyone like him. It wasn't so much his appearance, pretty high elves were a dime a dozen in the Gate. It was the way he moved. Like he was swimming, almost. Barely anchored in place by gravity or the people gyrating around him.
A modern AU in which our intrepid protagonists go to night markets, argue over the best version of Pride & Prejudice, and quite possibly fall in love despite the danger of it all.
