   Summary

   Jinx loves going to Demacian masquerade balls! All costumed up, she can rob the place blind and no one'll even know her face! But most of the time, it isn't just money she wants to find . . . after all, masks and costumes make it so easy to have some no-strings-attached fun.

   Meanwhile, Lux has a rather similar purpose at the Crownguard masquerade ball. But she has more than enough gold; she seeks blood, and prefers non-Demacian victims. A cute little thing like Jinx? There's no way she's be anything but easy prey . . . until she is.

   But Lux can't say she's disappointed with how things turned out.
