Fuck! That hurts.
David jumped up and hissed through his teeth and after he had dropped some of the ramen he ordered for Teruko on his right hand and foot, causing him to drop it on the floor making a loud clattering sound.
Luckily the ramen managed to not tip over while falling, landing on the floor and saving David an extra twenty bucks.
“All the money I spent on this shit and they don’t even include a durable lid, what complete trash” He muttered to himself.
He thought as he rolled his eyes, grabbed a paper towel to wipe up the steaming hot liquid from the floor, and picked up the steaming hot containers again.
David walked through the long hallways of the dorm rooms looking at the various posters for clubs. He glanced at one, it was a cooking club. Maybe he could join the club. He was already good and cooking and getting free food sounded good and he could ask Xander to join the club since he sucked at cooking. He walked away from the poster balancing the pho and the tylenol in both of his hands. Making sure not to make the same mistake of dropping it again.
When he finally reached the dormroom, he fumbled with the key on his lanyard that had him, Teruko, and Xander in the clear plastic photo frame. Xander was smiling while Teruko and David looked like they wanted to kill each other. Xander didn't notice them when they took that photo because his eyes were closed.
Teruko and David have always been this way with each other ever since they bumped into each other in the hallway and David laughed at her, which resulted in her pushing David. They always played small pranks on each other.
Normally these harmless pranks with David getting slightly hurt. David still remembered a week ago when Teruko put oil on the floor causing him to trip and fall. Hurting his back and having to slouch back in a chair. His back was already bad enough since school started up again and he had to listen to long lectures about boring shit.
David opened the door and walked to their room, Teruko was bundled in a soft sage green blanket, it was the same blanket that Xander got her for an apology gift since she accidentally Her face was red and puffed from being sick, she was sneezing over and over again, luckily she wasn't a loud sneezer so there was no mess to be cleaned up. But David handed her a tissue and her ramen and she took it and said “Thank you”. These were one of the few days that Teruko wasn't in the mood to be arguing and David didn't feel like enabling her. So he just kept quiet instead of making fun of her. He would get her back after she wasn't sick though, it was always that way.
David started looking all over, scanning for Xander but he couldn't find him. He was probably out doing something unimportant. Xander was always doing random stuff, attending events, driving around. It made David wonder how he has the money and time for all of this. Especially since Xander isn't the type to have a very planned out schedule. But Xander was just full of surprises.
David just decided to text Xander to confirm where he was at.
David: Xander. Teruko is sick. I'm taking care of her. Wya?
Xander: Hi, I’m driving home right now i'll be there in a few minutes :D
David: Teruko is fine, she's just been sneezing a lot. I thought u were going to take care of her while I was gone?
*Xander is typing*

Of course David thought as he set his phone on the nightstand and walked over to Teruko who was almost finished with the Ramen and sat on the bed. “Here, let me take that.” David said as he picked up the empty bowl and set it on the counter to dispose of later. “Thanks.” Teruko muttered as she went to turn over in bed.
David turned off the lights before cuddling with her and falling asleep, he started snoring loudly and Teruko woke up startled. She was surprised David could snore like that. But it was also getting a bit annoying. She tried to inch away but found David was cuddling with her and the blanket like someone would hug a giant stuffed animal. It was also pretty dark in there too, so Teruko couldn't see anything. She finally managed to get up, David woke up too. Teruko pushed David playfully and he pushed back harder, causing her to fall off the bed with a loud thud. She lunged at David who was trying to get to the lights and grabbed him by his foot. Taking him to the ground and winding him. He tried to shake her off but she wouldn't let go. “Let go of me!” David exclaimed in an annoyed tone of voice as he started shaking his leg to get her off. He grabbed a book and started hitting her arm and hand with the book. Teruko was about to snatch the book from him but before she could they both heard Xander open the door. “I'm home!” Xander said in a cheery expression that lasted one second before he turned on the light and saw Teruko and David, fighting with each other. They both looked up at him, but he just said nothing and walked back out the door, turning off the light. Which let them know they fucked up. They stared at each other for a minute before fighting again. As Xander just closed the door. Locking them in the bedroom. Teruko and David both got up as soon as they heard the door close and lock. “Let us out!” David demanded as he began to pound on the door.
“Not until you work out whatever happened between you two.” Xander stated. Before leaving the hallway and walking into the living room to sleep on the couch as David and Teruko pounded on the door repetitively.
