Reinhard opened the door to the mansion, ready to leave to go on his patrol, however the moment he stepped out he saw two figures standing in front of him.
The two glared at Reinhard, "We've been expecting you, sword saint." Reinhard could tell they practiced that line extremely well.
"What do you guys want?", Reinhard asked skeptically, he could sense malice radiating off the two.
The two in front of Reinhard were Subaru, and Al, both holding strange weapons in the shape of a ball that seemed to contain some strange substance.
"You must think you are so strong Reinhard", Al said sarcastically tossing the weapon in his hand while walking to the left, and Subaru walked towards the right.
The sword saint sighed, "If I have done something to offend either of you, I apologize, but I do not think it is necessary to engage in violence."
"No no no Reinhard, you don't understand, we don't need to do this.", Subaru licked his lips after saying, "We want to."
"AL NOW!"
"GOTCHA BRO."
The two threw the weird balls at Reinhard, but the sword saint had a saddened look while easily dodging them. Once the balls hit the closed door behind him, a strange liquid splashed onto the door.
"Damnit bro, we missed the first two, we gotta make these next ones count!"
Subaru nodded, running behind Reinhard and throwing two more of the weapons, but Reinhard once more easily dodged them.
"Al hold him still!" Subaru yelled from behind Reinhard, ready to use the opening Al would give him.
"Yeah yeah I gotcha Ol Shamak", Al nonchalantly said while aiming it at Reinhard ready to bind him, however, Reinhard stepped out of the way, and Subaru got hit instead, trapping him in a ball.
Al facepalmed, "Ah shit I missed, sorry pal, don't mind if I take this though." He stuffed Subaru in his pocket.
Al had two more weapons left he needed to use them wisely-
"What the fuck is going on!"
Suddenly everyone looked towards the door, and an angry Felt stomped out, "I was tryna take a nap, and I hear you idiots messing around, also where the fuck is big bro, I thought I saw him."
Al whistled through his mask, while Reinhard tried to explain the situation. However he had an opening, "SNEAK ATTACK!", he threw the weapon, and Reinhard distracted did not realize it, however, it flew past him and hit Felt.
"WHAA", She yelled, and the weapon that was revealed to be a water balloon splashed all over her. Al's fist pumped the air, "Yo bro we finally hit someone with the water balloon prank let's hightail it outta here!"
Al ran off, and Ferris pulled up in a dragon carriage, he was the getaway driver, Al jumped in, and the carriage got ready to run however something picked it up.
When they looked to the side they saw a very angry Reinhard lifting up the carriage, "You dare... attack Felt-Sama!"
Al started waving his hands rapidly, "YO YO REINHARD CHILL IT WAS A PRANK."
Ferris nodded his head rapidly, "Yeah Reinhard-Kyun, we were just messing with you nya", Ferris helped Al clear up the situation.
"What is a prank?"
Both Ferris and Al deadpanned, "It's just like an inconveniencing joke you do to your friends.", Al explained, still nervous because Reinhard was holding the entire carriage in the air still.
"Oooh, so sealing Subaru was also a prank?" Reinhard had a look of understanding while saying that.
Al stayed silent.
Felt immediately chimed in, "Wait wait wait what did you do to big bro?"
Al was the very definition of silence, however the blonde one was prying in so there was only one thing he could do.
"SNEAK ATTACK", he slammed a water balloon into Felt's face, and she fell onto the ground.
Reinhard began laughing after that, "Ah ah ah ah ah, I see, that's a prank!"
Reinhard began spinning the entire carriage, and threw Al into the sky, sending him across the country along with the carriage, Ferris was lucky enough to escape in time.
While Al flew through the air at lightspeed he noticed something in the distance, "PRINCESS?", he yelled while Priscilla was also flying the same direction at lightspeed.
"I-im going to be sick.", Princess said unelegantly still covering her mouth while her face looked green.
The two kept flying side by side.
Reinhard noticed that Al dropped the Subaru seal on the ground, and decided to play a prank on Subaru as well, the sword saint grabbed a pen and paper and wrote a story, then through B.S. divine protections, put it into the seal.
Subaru would now have to read Lone Star, over and over while stuck in the seal.
Elsewhere, Julius placed his hand on the hilt of his sword while glaring at Capella, "I shall stop you, archbishop."
The lady laughed while pointing at Julius, "Oh this meat bag thinks he can stop this lovely lady with that toothpick you call a sword?"
Reinhard saw the battle from a distance and decided now was the time to prank his friend, using his op speed he did something funny.
"My name is Julius Juukulius, and I shall stop you!" he yelled, pulling out his sword. Only for some reason his sword did not pull out.
"My name is Julius Juukulius, and I shall stop you!" he yelled, pulling out his sword once more, and nothing happened again.
When he looked down at his sword he realized that he did not have his sword in his case, where the fuck did the dragon sword come from.
He started to sweat nervously, he couldn't unsheathe this, and he was right in front of an archbishop.
"YOU JUST GOT PRANKED JULIUS!"Reinhard yelled from the distance, causing both of them to turn towards him. When the two saw him he was dangling Julius' sword in his hand, "I need to go prank someone else now, but you got this Julius." He gave his friend a thumbs-up and ran off.
The nervous Julius slowly turned his head back towards Capella, "would you allow me to put a rain check on this duel?"
He got turned into a bunch of frogs.
Reinhard walked down the road, his day of pranks had only just begun, he looked towards an old lady struggling to carry groceries, and smiled, ready to do another prank.
However something else came in his line of sight.
There in front of him stood Emilia.
‘I’m going to make you my friend.’
‘I’m going to prank you as my friend.’
Thus the showdown between the two of them would begin.
