Summary
Zira picked “ what you really need is a friend” at the confession scene. It isn’t necessarily what she wanted. Of course she wanted to be with him. Her infatuation of a crush had quickly turned into an insatiable romance. But she wanted to take the burden off of him. Her heart sank into her stomach as he revealed how complicated his relationship with romance was. She couldn’t bear the thought of him gaslighting himself into having sex with her to make sure she’d stay.They never fell out of love afterwards.
Just silently pined after each other.It's been 8 months since the nether brain was defeated and no one has seen him since he ran from the sun. Since then Zira has gone into business with Derryth Bonecloak’s apothecary. (Why? Just cause that npc really stuck with me.) Zira doesn’t have any family to get back to. Derryth needed a roommate and a business partner. Someone other than a cat. Zira has nothing better to do.
*would also like to add this may be a lil easier to read if you've talked to derryth in act 2 and 3 and know a lil about her lore but im hopeful that it's an easy read regardless*
