Work Text:
What makes a family family? If parents can adopt children, then how about siblings? While there are step-siblings or adopted siblings, it isn’t up to the siblings to have a say in someone getting adopted as their siblings. Whether by blood or adopted, siblings are a family that you can’t have a say about.
Maybe to balance that out, there are people who think of strangers as siblings, even if it is only by words.
Siblings are really a complicated family relationship.
Peter Parker, or now known as Petere-Two by his adorable little brothers, knows about that. It is a bit weird for counterparts from multiverses to consider themselves as siblings, he doesn’t think anyone is going to understand it. And in his opinion, siblings aren’t even fully explained how complicated their relationships are.
But, siblings are the closest word to describe it.
Still, even after more or less 5 months, they become brothers, and Peter-Two never stops learning new things every day.
“Sorry for that call. My kids are… being kids. It is hard when they have a fight and they ask me to choose a side, you know.”
Peter-Two can only smile and nod to his boss, despite he can’t relate to his words at all. Being a single kid for most of his life, Peter-Two never thinks that there is a moment where he needs to take a side when two parties have a quarrel. His late Aunt May and Uncle Ben never did that, and even though they did, Aunt May usually would win at the end, so yeah.
For MJ, usually, she made him choose between herself and his duty as a Spider-Man. That was a different story.
“I know that you can’t play the favorite of your kids, but sometimes, it is hard,” his boss chuckles awkwardly. Once again, Peter-Two only smiles politely without saying anything. “Now, let’s talk about your next project…”
Peter-Two takes note as his boss explains his next assignment project via online meeting.
That is when he can feel a sudden burst of sadness and shock inside his chest.
“…Peter? Hey, are you alright?”
“Oh, yeah, I zoned out a little bit,” Peter-Two waves off his boss’s concern. Feeling a little bit happy that they have this online meeting instead of an offline meeting because, with online meetings, people can’t read their coworkers’ moods accurately. “My apologies, but could you please repeat what you said?”
Peter-Two finishes his online meeting with his boss smoothly as he sighs and leans back to his chair. The sad feeling is persistently staying, based on his observation for the last three weeks, it is borderline not worrying but also worrying at the same time.
Having invisible bonds that connect him to his brothers is sure handy but also quite troublesome. With how the recent trauma still fresh in their minds, the three brothers experience extreme mood swings at unexpected times. It is getting better, but once in a while, they can still experience immense sadness and shock.
Peter-Two tries to focus on his laptop again. Let’s wait it out for now, he will observe the wave of the emotions, trying to give it time. Since he knows that he needs to stop being overly protective toward his little brothers, he needs to learn to believe in his brothers again.
Peter-Two is struggling to focus on his job, but he is persistently doing it. It doesn’t help that he can feel another wave of worry and anger come from the other bond, which has a high probability that it is influenced by the current state of their bond.
When one of them gets sad, the others slowly will follow, inevitably. Their bonds work three ways and it is easy to get swept up by the others’ emotions. The least that Peter-Two can do when this happens, is try to stay calm.
His brothers both joked and were amazed at how he was zen all the time. They don’t know that being zen requires a lot of effort. He does this not only for himself but also to make his brothers calm knowing that Peter-Two is calm.
Peter-Two frowns and winces as he can feel the rising anger and anxiety in his chest.
From both of the bonds.
“Are they doing something?” Peter-Two mutters at himself while hitting his chest a few times, trying to remind himself that none of these overwhelming emotions are his. The oldest pulls off his glasses and closes his laptop.
This can’t be done. He needs to check on them.
He is half hoping that his little brothers are simply fighting a new enemy together. They love to patrol together after all.
But, when Peter-Two crosses the portal, he is a bit appalled to see what is happening.
“Damn it, Little Bug. I don’t even understand why you can’t understand my point! What I did is justified!”
“No, no, it isn’t! And it isn’t that I can’t understand you, but what you did is WRONG!”
“Oh, please don’t blow it out of proportion. You made it as if someone got hurt, I didn’t hurt ANYONE, okay!?”
“Yeah, but you BROKE the table, Peter-Three! That is still aggression! I didn’t ask you to do that—why did you do that!?”
Peter-Two is looking at the arguing brothers, looking at Peter-One then Peter-Three in turn. Based on their escalating voices, it seems this isn’t a harmless bantering. “Hey, hey, guys, can both of you calm down a little-“
“No, no, you stay out of it, Old Bug!” Peter-Three hisses at him with clear anger in his eyes. It is rare to see him being angry at any of his brothers. Peter-Two is a bit shocked.
Peter-One huffs in anger. “I’m just angry because Peter-Three threatened my former boss—” he grimaces and turns at the middle brother with a desperate look. “I didn’t ask you to do any of that!”
“He is being an ASSH*LE! Didn’t you hear how he talked about you!? He insulted you-“
“I know, I know! I heard what he said, OKAY? But, you just barged in—how did you even there in the first place—You barged in and threatened him before I could say anything. What? Did you think I can’t defend myself?”
“I looked for you because I felt something through our bond—then I found that BASTARD insulted you, about being an orphan—did you expect me to just stay still and do nothing!?”
The oldest is observing the verbal fight between the brothers, ready to make a move if they choose to fight physically. But, more than anything, he wants them to stop arguing back and forth like this. Clearly what they need is civil communication to clear the misunderstanding between them—
“Yeah, but remember that you are Spider-Man! How could be so violent to someone powerless like that—”
“No, don’t dare you bring that card to me. I know, I’m a Spider-Man, but I can be angry too—”
“What do you think, Peter-Two? Do you think I’m wrong or he is wrong?” Peter-One suddenly turns to ask for the oldest opinion.
“Don’t you dare bring Big Bug into this!” Peter-Three growls in anger.
“Isn’t that because you are afraid to admit that you are wrong?” Peter-One taunts back.
Peter-Two raises both of his hands. “Guys, seriously, I hardly know the whole situation here. How about we sit down and talk about it calmly-“
“How did you not get it!? Peter-Three threatened my former boss, a powerless guy, and broke a table, like some kind of thug! That is the whole situation here!” Peter-One explains with frustration clear in his voice.
“Hey, don’t leave out the context like that! That BASTARD insulted you first! And I know you were just going to stand there and accept it, like hell I could just stand by and do nothing—”
“Don’t try to justify what you did! STOP projecting onto ME!”
There is a deafening silence between them. Peter-Two can feel another immense pain and sadness flooding from their bonds.
“Peter—” Peter-Two knows that the middle brother is hurt deeply by the youngest’s remark.
“What!? Are you going to blame me too!?” Peter-Three steps back defensively, he looks angry but from their bonds, Peter-Two knows that he is hurt.
“I’m not going to—” Peter-Two just wants Peter-Three to calm down a little bit, and maybe, pull him into a hug-
“Forget it, leave me alone!” Peter-Three turns around and runs toward the opened window.
“Peter!” Peter-Two runs but he can see how Peter-Three already disappears from the window. Not even bothering to put on his suit—no, it isn’t the time for him to nitpick about that. Let’s hope that even if someone does see someone crawling out of the window, Peter-One’s world is full of superheroes, so maybe it isn’t a weird sight.
Instead, let’s tackle the pressing problem first.
The oldest turns around and sees the youngest. Peter-One is clearly confused and regretting what he just said, but he tries to mask it with anger and an annoyed expression.
“Peter… can you please explain to me what happened before I came here?” Peter-Two tries to say it as softly as possible. He frowns when he sees how Peter-One flinches a little, probably feeling very guilty about what has just transpired.
Peter-Two slowly approaches the youngest and taps his shoulder gently. “Hey, are you okay?”
Peter-One looks at him with glassy eyes then the youngest looks down, looking quite ashamed of himself.
The oldest only sighs. Based on how there is a feeling of overwhelming sadness and hurt from their bonds, of course, the youngest can feel how much he hurt Peter-Three with his words.
This will be a long night for sure.

“Are you not going to follow Peter-Three first?”
Peter-One finally finds his voice back, once Peter-Two has coaxed him to sit down and brewed him tea. It is a bit hard for the youngest to feel what the oldest is feeling because his own emotions are twisting inside his chest.
Peter-Two gives him a thin smile. There is no trace of anger on his face, only concern and sadness.
“Why are you thinking like that? Do you think I will choose Peter-Three’s side on this?” Peter-Two jokes lightly, but his voice is so gentle that Peter-One wants to cry hearing it. Half of him expected Peter-Two to get angry at him, for being an emotional teen, like others did.
But, of course, the oldest didn’t do that.
“Because… he is hurting… I… hurt him,” Peter-One mutters weakly while holding his mug with clammy hands.
He never fought this seriously with his brothers before. He is just—
“And you are hurt as well…” Peter-Two pats his head tenderly.
Peter-One shakes his head. He is hurt because he hurt his brother, which is something that never crossed his mind before.
“I’m sorry…” Peter-One whispers weakly as he is holding back his tears as best as he can because it isn’t his right to cry after he hurt his brother.
“You can save your apology for Peter-Three later…” Peter-Two replies gently, he pulls the youngest into his hug. “He will be alright, you will be as well…”
Peter-One clings to his older brother tightly. He nods meekly as he holds back his tears.
“Now… Peter, can you please tell me what has happened?” Peter-Two releases him from his hug, giving Peter-One a tight smile.
Right, the oldest doesn’t know the whole story yet.
“So… uhm… you know that I landed another delivery service job, right?” Peter-One starts to explain his part of the story. Peter-Two nods so the youngest continues. “So… I delivered food to this family, they paid by cash, which is rare nowadays…”
Peter-Two nods again, encouraging the youngest to continue. “The child was the one who received my delivery, he paid me the cash and I gave him the change… but then when I was about to leave, his mom was angry at me because I didn’t give the change… I said I did but she got even angrier because she thought I accused her son of lying…”
Peter-One is still feeling shitty to remember it. He felt so wronged when he did nothing wrong. He wonders if that apartment has a doorbell camera, the mother should have noticed that Peter-One wasn’t lying but he doesn’t think that she is going to check it anyway.
“Well, then, when I got back… she called my boss and told him everything… when he was reprimanding me about it behind the counter, my former boss came to buy something—it is still in the same neighborhood after all—and then, he told him about how I was being problematic, being absent without prior notice, which you know why. And then, he started to berate me of being an uneducated and ungrateful orphan…” Peter-One pauses because he can feel the rising anger from his bond. He sees how Peter-Two has such a serious look on his face.
“Well… you know, with me not being in high school… he isn’t entirely wrong…” Peter-One doesn’t want Peter-Two to get angry as well.
“You don’t need to justify his insult to you,” Peter-Two reminds him with a stern expression. Peter-One pauses and then nods timidly.
“And then, suddenly… Peter-Three appeared out of nowhere… he was… really angry…” Peter-One continues his story. His voice becomes smaller as he remembers the livid middle brother. “He grabbed his collar and he looked like he was about to hit him, I managed to stop him… but he continued to shout back to my old boss… then when my old boss shouted back, Peter-Three hit the counter and the table was cracked… almost destroyed, not completely destroyed…” Peter-One recounts back.
Even he was shocked by Peter-Three’s anger. He never saw his middle brother being violent like that. He looked like he wanted to murder his old boss and even Peter-One was intimidated by that. The half-destroyed counter showed how Peter-Three uncontrol his power. Or maybe, he did it on purpose. “Then… I dragged him back to my place and… you know the rest.”
It was hard to drag the angry middle brother away from his workplace, but Peter-One did it before there were any casualties. And once they got back to his small apartment, the brothers shouted at each other.
Peter-One fidgets in his seat, looking at his own lap, refusing to meet Peter-Two’s gaze.
The youngest felt so angry earlier. He thinks that what Peter-Three did was unnecessary. He doesn’t like to see his brother being threatening and violent, especially to innocent common folks. Well, probably not exactly innocent, but he hasn’t done any crime yet. Not to mention that Peter-Three didn’t even let Peter-One react back to his old boss, Peter-One wasn’t just going to stand by and accept the insult. He was going to get angry back, really, because even if he was his former employer, he didn’t have the right to insult him that way.
If he imagines how the other Avengers would react if they see how violent his brother is, they wouldn’t just let him be. Peter-One admires his brothers deeply, even Peter-Three who thought lowly of himself, so he dislikes to see how Peter-Three is violent like that.
“He was just being protective toward you, you know.”
Peter-One frowns and looks to Peter-Two. “But, did that mean he thinks that I’m unable to stand up by myself? So, he was angry for my sake?”
That doesn’t sit well for the youngest if he is the very reason why Peter-Three is unable to control himself.
“I know, I said that not to defend him, I just want you to see it from his side of view,” Peter-Two raises his hand to stop Peter-One from getting worked up again. “I understand why you are angry at him and why he is angry at you.”
Peter-One feels the incoming scolding. Peter-Two gives him a tight smile. “I know that you know what you did wrong though, so I won’t say anything more,” the oldest says instead.
Yes, Peter-One knows. No matter how angry he is, was, with Peter-Three, he hurt the middle brother with his words. While it is true that the brothers probably keep projecting onto each other because they can relate to and understand each other feelings better than anyone, but still, Peter-One went too far. Peter-One belittled Peter-Three and invalidated his feelings.
“I shouldn’t have said that…” Peter-One regrets it deeply. And more, he also regrets how he let himself swept up with his emotions.
“Yeah, regardless of whether you said is true or not, you shouldn’t have said it like that,” Peter-Two agrees. The oldest pats the youngest’s head tenderly. Peter-One feels guilty about how kind and calm Peter-Two talked to him, he deserved a scold or two honestly.
“You should finish your tea, I will find Peter-Three,” the oldest says as he raises up from his chair.
“Should I…?” Peter-One perks up his head but trails off timidly. Peter-Two shakes his head.
“Let me talk to him first, then you can talk to him after I bring him home. You two need to talk to each other,” Peter-Two refuses politely. The youngest nods, thinking that is probably better. Peter-One wants nothing more than hugging Peter-Three and apologizing to him. But, he shouldn’t corner the middle brother, especially after his outburst earlier, he knows.
“Where are you going to search him…?” Peter-One asks again, after all, this is his world, not Peter-Three. Maybe, because he was so lost in rage, Peter-Three forgot about that.
“I have a few ideas… Let’s hope that I can find him,” Peter-Two huffs with a small smile. Peter-One nods along, hoping for the same thing.

Peter-Three notices another presence that is slowly approaching him. He is on the rooftop of Peter-One’s former high school. Since he has nowhere else to go. This place holds a special memory for him.
He feels alerted by this sudden presence before he realizes that it is his older brother. Still, he can’t feel relaxed at all. He chooses to stare off to the horizon, hoping that the oldest gets the hint that Peter-Three wants to be alone.
He knows that the oldest will scold him eventually.
Peter-Three knows that he messed up badly.
He failed to control his anger and threatened a powerless man, no matter how rude he was, but Peter-Three had more than enough power to kill him without breaking a sweat.
And Peter-One was right, Peter-Three is a Spider-Man, it was unbecoming for him to do something like that.
He knows he knows already.
Peter-Three blinks when he hears nothing from Peter-Two. He steals a glance at his side, seeing how the oldest is simply just sitting beside him, at a safe distance, and staring into nothing like him.
He is probably waiting for Peter-Three to talk by himself. The middle brother bites his lower lip and hugs his knee tighter.
“Do you know how that bastard insulted Little Bug?” Peter-Three asks the oldest first, checking whether he has heard the whole story or not.
“I heard from Peter-One, he called him an uneducated and ungrateful orphan,” Peter-Two answers with a stoic face. Peter-Three recognizes that expression as Peter-Two’s expression before he gets angry. That face is when the oldest is trying to control his anger.
“So, you heard,” Peter-Three grits his teeth. “How dare he insult him like that? How dare he bring up that Little Bug is an orphan… I’m an orphan too, and you too.”
Well, he still has Aunt May, technically but he was still abandoned—left by his parents all the same.
“It doesn’t like Little Bug wants to be an orphan—why did he have to insult him in that way? I just— I was so angry…” Peter-Three clenches his fist tighter as he can feel his anger rising again. He didn’t like to see anyone berating his lovely little brother in any way. If that bastard didn’t insult Peter-One in such a shitty way, maybe Peter-Three wouldn’t lose in anger like that.
But, Peter-One was alone and he looked small. While it was past the lunch rush, there were other customers. That bastard shamed Peter-One in front of other people and he wasn’t even Peter-One’s current boss. He has fired his little brother, so he has done enough so why he has to add more fuel to the fire?
Peter-Three just wanted to protect his little brother, showing him and also the other people that Peter-One wasn’t alone. He may be an orphan, but he isn’t alone.
He did take too far though. But, even after he released that bastard from his hold, he shouted even more insults.
Calling Peter-One a troublemaker and selfish because no one taught him better. Insulting him that sooner Peter-One would end up on the street being homeless.
So, Peter-Three hit the counter, to stop that bastard from spewing more nonsense. He must have failed to control his strength because the counter cracked and split under his fist.
But, really, Peter-Three didn’t hurt anyone. He has the right to be angry… right? He is used when other people bad-talking him or insult him, but not to his little brother. The insult does not even come from their nemesis, Peter-Three can understand that better. But, a former employer? To think that Peter-One used to work under that kind of assh*le pissed Peter-Three even more.
“I guess, I would get angry too if I were you,” Peter-Two says with a neutral voice.
“Yeah… but… you wouldn’t be violent…” Peter-Three admits that with a small voice.
He wants to protect Peter-One, just like when Peter-Two protected him. But, as expected, despite sharing the same name and existence, he falls short of Peter-Two. He can’t be like the oldest, not at all.
“I did it again… didn’t I?” Peter-Three buries his head further into his folding arms. “I just wanted them to stop insulting Peter-One, I didn’t mean to hurt anyone…” But, he isn’t that good with words, so the only way he could think for his message to get across was by using his fists.
“I know you didn’t mean to,” Peter-Two answers with such confidence, showing just how much he believes in Peter-Three. Not even when Peter-Three can’t believe in himself.
“I’m sorry…” Peter-Three mutters with a weak voice.
It feels weird that Peter-Two doesn’t scold him. He deserves to be scolded. He was at fault and he made a mistake. It feels better if Peter-Two just scolds him.
Peter-Three remembers how his late Uncle Ben scolded him when he flexed his strength and broke the basketball hoop. He did want to embarrass his bully, after what he had done everything to Peter-Three, he thought that bastard deserved that much. But, when his late Uncle Ben scolded him, Peter-Three felt…
So wronged and hurt.
Well, yeah, he never told Uncle Ben how much he got punched and kicked around by the bullies around him. But, still… he didn’t hurt anyone back then as well…
But, he understands that... he was simply just wrong. There is no justification for violence, unless for self-defense or fighting criminals.
“Peter… you don’t need to be sorry to me,” Peter-Two says tenderly. “I know you regret what you did. You know what is your fault. And I know that you will try to not do it again. That much is enough.”
But, the fact is, he didn’t change. He still repeated the same mistake, again. He is such a lost cause. “But, this is the second time I lost control-“
“Trying is the key. You didn’t hurt anyone this time and that is an improvement,” Peter-Two cuts his words and then smiles at him. “I know you just want to protect Peter-One, you have your heart in the right place.”
Peter-Three nods meekly. It is still bewildering to not see the disappointment on Peter-Two’s face no matter what he does.
But, Peter-Three needs to get a grip. He thinks that Peter-One has started to get fed up by his antics. And the youngest has a point, Peter-Three needed to stop projecting himself onto him. Just because Peter-Three was used to doing nothing and swallowing it down when people talking shitty about him, and no one stand up for him, that doesn’t mean that Peter-One is going to be the same.
Peter-Three just remembers how suck it was, to be alone in that kind of situation. It was scary. It felt like he was utterly alone and the entire world hated him. He felt like he was such a hateable person. Peter-Three doesn’t want Peter-One to feel the same way—
Then again, the youngest has the world turned their back on him a few months ago. And… Peter-One seemed… cool. Well, he was in an utter mess, but he didn’t seem like he was suffering from a self-esteem issue or something like that.
Well, he had his MJ and Ned back then, so maybe because of that he was okay.
So, Peter-One is different from him so… Peter-Three does need to stop projecting himself onto the youngest.
“It is… hard to not projecting me to Little Bug or you though…” Peter-Three mutters with doubt. After all, they are all Peter Parker and Spider-men.
“I think… rather than about that, Peter-One has an issue of people thinking that he is incapable or something like that,” Peter-Two responds back. “He is still a teenager, after all, he is still trying to prove his worth and find his identity.”
Peter-Three frowns because he doesn’t think he can understand it.
“Well, in our case, people never knew about how we have become Spider-Man in our teen years, so it was rare for us to get underestimated because of our age,” Peter-Two adds.
Oh, right, that makes sense.
“Compared to the superheroes in this world, maybe Peter-One is the youngest here. I think there are many cases where he got dismissed or left out because of his age. It is a sensitive subject for him, so you do need to be understanding about that to him,” Peter-Two adds more.
Peter-Three is amazed that Peter-Two can understand the youngest that much.
“To be honest, Little Bug is more reliable than I am, he should be aware of that,” Peter-Three points out, not noticing how he just depreciated himself like usual. “I guess I’m not a good comparison, but seriously, for his age, Little Bug is really brave, smart, and dependable. He is perfect.”
Peter-Two sees him with tender eyes. “Just like us.”
Peter-Three pauses for a second, realizing what the oldest just did. Peter-Three thinks that he is far from perfect, but he gets the hint that Peter-Two asked him to stop depreciating himself. He only manages to nod awkwardly.
“You need to tell Peter-One all of that,” Peter-Two adds again, seemingly satisfied that Peter-Three doesn’t rebuke his words. “Oh, but, I’m not siding with anyone on this case. I just… you know, I understand both of your points of view. You need to talk to Peter-One after you calm down, okay?” Peter-Two adds again with a sheepish smile.
Peter-Three nods again obediently.
Peter-Two smiles warmly and pats Peter-Three’s shoulder.
Peter-Two is really… amazing, in Peter-Three’s opinion. He thinks that there is no way he can reach that level of wisdom and calmness. He is that amazing.
0o0o0o0
“I’m sorry…”
“I’m sorry too… I shouldn’t have said that.”
Peter-Two sighs with relief as he sees how his little brothers hugging and apologizing to each other.
“You see, Little Bug. I didn’t do that because I think that you are incapable of protecting yourself or something… but, regardless, I just wanted to protect you. You are my precious little brother and I want to protect you always, I just can’t help it.”
“Yeah, I know… I’m sorry for being so sensitive about that…” Peter-One admits with a small frown.
“No, no, you need to understand it. I know that you are amazing, reliable, smart, and strong, but regardless of that, I still want to protect you,” Peter-Three shakes Peter-One’s shoulders, probably trying to get his message across.
“Because, to have someone important that you can protect, that itself is such a blessing for us,” Peter-Two lends a hand to explain what Peter-Three means. “I know that you share the same feelings, it isn’t because you are young and still a teen. I know that you want to protect me and Peter-Three too.”
“You seem good at drawing the line though,” Peter-One lets out a comment with a small voice.
Peter-Two huffs. “Based on my bad track record where I got overly protective of you two, even I made a mistake.”
Peter-One nods in understanding.
“I’m sorry for saying that you should stop projecting onto me,” Peter-One says once more and Peter-Three gives him a thin smile.
“It is okay, Little Bug, I understand why you said that.” Peter-Three pauses a little bit. “And I know, I shouldn’t have gotten so violent today. Well, that bastard was being so shitty, but I know that it didn’t justify what I did to him… I’m sorry for that.”
Peter-One fiddles with his fingers nervously. “I just… I don’t like to see you being violent… and I don’t want people to see you as a violent person as well… nevertheless, thank you for standing up for me.”
“Any time, Little Bug. Anytime.”
The two of them hug again, tighter than before. Peter-Two can feel various mixed of feelings cross between them, the oldest smiles in satisfaction.
“Peter-Two, come here.”
“Yeah, Big Bug, get in here.”
Peter-Two chuckles and joins in their circle of hugs. “I’m proud that the two of you can reconcile. Good job.”
“Oh, come on, we can’t do it without you,” Peter-One comments.
“That’s right. You talked to us and didn’t choose any sides. You are the best, Big Bug.”
Peter-Two only can laugh softly, while there is a faint blush on his cheeks. They don’t know just how much anxiety Peter-Two has while consoling both of them, navigating being the eldest is still a hard task for him. He is still learning something new every day. “I did say that I don’t play favorite, both of you are my little brothers. And, I also said that we are going to fight or have a disagreement, but you need to remember that we are brothers. We don’t stop being brothers, okay?”
His little brothers nod along with him, and Peter-Two smiles at them.
“As long as we are together, we will be okay,” Peter-One says with so much faith in his eyes, it is almost blinding.
“That’s right,” Peter-Two agrees.
“We are brothers, so… Spider-bros?” Peter-Three mulls whatever he thinks in his mind.
“Uhm… I wonder whether there will be a moment where we can call ourselves that way…” Peter-Two can’t admit that he feels that naming is a bit tacky.
“And it feels like if some other Spider-Man appears, they will get included as Spider-bros too, so no,” Peter-One huffs.
Peter-Two never thinks that Peter-One is against that idea. He always thinks that Peter-One is a people person and is always excited to meet new people.
“Don’t worry, not anyone, not even other Spider-men can join our brotherhood easily,” Peter-Three responds back, Peter-One seems satisfied. “You are right, maybe we need a better name after all.”
Peter-Two looks at both of his little brothers. Sometimes, he can’t understand what is going on with them, but both of them seem to think the same thing. Maybe it is a thing of being the younger brothers, so Peter-Two can’t understand.
And honestly, he can’t openly admit that if there is one or more Spider-Man joining them… Peter-Two might lose his mind for sure.
Just two is enough, two younger brothers are enough for him.
He loves them very much and… he doesn’t need more than two. No, thank you.
End
