Summary
Jin Guangyao opened the door to his room and fought the urge to whine at the scent of ‘worried alpha’ that hit his nose the second Jin Zixuan laid eyes upon him.
He knew he looked like shit, but that’s what happened when one was a beta who was stressed out enough to be currently experiencing both his heat and his rut at the same time. Blame their father for overworking him to ensure all his plans went perfectly. Of course Guangyao was tired and overworked, and of course his body decided the best response was to sync up his heat and rut cycles this month. Now Zixuan was worried and Guangyao had wanted to keep him away from all this, not draw him further in. But.
Zixuan was at his door, offering his help, and Guangyao was so, so tired. What harm could come from letting Zixuan help him just this one time?
