Chapter Text
The air was eerie, a creepy atmosphere for any soul who dared come through the shadows in the woods. An unfortunate wanderer ended up falling for the siren’s voice leading him to what would soon be his demise. The gun on his hand hanging loosely as he walked further onto the dark forest, the shadows moving excitedly around him.
Knock knock, open up the door.
So shiny, so inviting, yet so dangerous.
A marble door painted in silver with a blue doorknob hiding the siren inside the trees. The devil’s playground. Oh, poor innocent one who had come so far to find their death. Hesitantly, he pressed his hand on the knob, a heavy feeling filled his guts, his subconscious screaming he should run, however the sweet, soothing voice called out to him.
Like an angel.
Dressed in blue, a dark red flower at hand, the voice insisted on its solitude, how the siren ached for company, desperate to find a soul who would stay inside the trees forever.
Knock knock…
Slowly, the hand reached the doorknob, the way it graced his fingertips so rough, it hurt, so much pain, so bittersweet. Oh, how he loved the chase for more.
…who’s there?
The darkness soon engulfed him as he opened the door. The voice forming into a delicate youth, blue eyed, such a pure one.
Devil
As the most beautiful man stood before him, he couldn’t but feel strongly attracted to it, his bleeding hand and pain forgotten in the presence of the red nectar coming from the rose. Almost crawling, desperate for the one that would save him from the excruciating pain he didn’t feel, the horrors he doesn’t remember seeing, the guilt he never felt over the 30 bodies down his feet, the people he might not remember killing but that would soon feel, see, and live in its own flesh.
A dizzying dream
The benevolent smile soon turned into one full of teeth, the dead had risen and were creeping at his limbs, tearing slowly, limb by limb. A shadow behind the youth, red eyes, claws and fangs. Suddenly the warmth that had him covered all the way down the forest disappeared, noticing the pain, the cold, and most importantly, the sheer fear in his mind and racing heart.
Watching me, low one.
The devil showed its true self, the blue-eyed man still shined through the darkness as thought he was laughing at his fate. The trees wouldn’t talk, and the pit he got himself in was nothing but an illusion, drowning him as the bottom seemed endless, as the souls of those he killed kept dragging him further, the siren was quiet, and the devil disappeared into nothingness.
“Good job, Sebastian”, said the young man as he entered the carriage, the devil only smiled sinfully. “Take us home, I’m tired of all these theatrics”
“As you please, my lord”.
