Summary
Two boys ran, one after another. Both of them weaved their way through crowds of people, one avoiding the people and just running between them, while the other boy simply pushed them out of the way as he ran. Displeased adults wrapped their arms around the children they walked with, covering them from being pushed away by the second, more violent, boy. Some angry grumbles came from older men but that didn’t matter to the boys. They had somewhere to get to and they were not planning to turn back. One had a real destination, the other simply chased him - almost like a fox chasing a rabbit.
“Remus!” the boy called out to his friend, terrified yet worried at the same time. Someone he had known for over a year had transformed into a werewolf right before him, howling in pain. He cringed whenever another howl came but when he searched for where the sound came from, he only saw thick piles of snow. That didn’t stop him from looking for Remus, though.
