It had been a long shift for Katsuki Bakugou, the number 2 hero. There had been many disturbances that he had to break up with his team of heroes under his and Eijirou’s hero agency. Young villains involved in the disturbances tried to emulate villains Shigaraki and Dabi in their ill-fated quests to destroy the society made after All Might’s image.
Katsuki is bone-weary and running on 2 hours of sleep. It’s eleven o’clock at night when he drags himself to the home he shares with Eijirou Kirishima in the crisp chill of the autumn night.
Their home is a comfortable townhouse in a quieter area of Tokyo, quieter because Bakugou’s known for keeping a sleep schedule and the people in the area want to stay on his good side and not his explosive one. The front garden was full of colorful blooms that were still seen in the light from the streetlights. The husbands spent a long Saturday to get their home more colorful and welcoming to come home to after spending long hours fighting evil.
Katsuki entered the front door, taking his shoes off and placing them on their shoe mat while putting on his slippers. He walks down the hall past the living room, which functions as their gaming room and nerd room. The walls of the living room filled with All Might and Crimson Riot paraphernalia alike. Moving down the hall towards their bedroom he notices radiant red hair on a pillow on Eijirou’s side of their massive Alaskan king-sized bed and hears the quiet snoring of his favorite person. Katsuki strips off his filthy uniform and turns the shower on to scalding hot as he steps under the water and gets rid of the filth of the day.
After his shower, Katsuki dressed in boxers and a loose t-shirt to slide into bed. He puts his face close to Eijirou’s and gently kisses the other’s sleep-warm forehead.
Katsuki quietly whispers, “I love you, Eijirou.” He snuggles close to his husband and wraps his arms around him. Eijirou sleepily opens his eyes to see Katsuki and gently kisses the other lips.
“I love you too, Kats,” Eijirou says as he snuggles closer to Katsuki and lays his head on his husband’s chest for his heartbeat to lull him back to sleep. Katsuki holds Eijirou a little tighter at that and goes to sleep after a long, rough day.
