He had tried to hate him. He thought he had actually succeeded in doing so three months after the redhead left him, when everyone had learned to whisper Kirishima’s name around him and he had shoved all gifts the younger one had ever given him in a plastic container sealed tighter than Pandora’s box. He had blocked the words Red Riot and Eijirou Kirishima from all his social media platforms. Hell, he had even deleted Kirishima’s number from his phone, afraid he’d be dumb enough to call him in the very few nights that he had gone out for drinks with Deku and Todoroki.
It was all a futile attempt, he soon realized, after he discovered that almost all parts of his life were tainted red with Kirishima’s touch. The places he liked to visit, Kirishima had visited with him. The movies he liked to watch, Kirishima had watched them with him. Almost every piece of fucking clothing he had owned since five years ago until now, Kirishima had stolen it at some point.

Contrary to his uttermost wishes, twenty-one years old Katsuki Bakugou has found himself to be incapable of remotely disliking Eijirou Kirishima despite the fact that his best friend all but ghosted him a year ago.

He heard Katsuki sigh,“Someone else I'm not gonna remember from that stupid school I go to?”
“Katsuki…” a woman said, a sigh heavy on her voice.
“What, Ma?”
He saw Katsuki in time to witness one of his signature eye-rolls, and he smiled.
“Hey, Kats. How are you feeling?” He greeted with a wave.
Katsuki’s eyes went wide, pretty pink flushing his cheeks and he swallowed, “Holy fucking shit.”
“Man, I was so worried about you.” He admits, laughing quietly.
Katsuki shook his head for a split second, “Who the hell are you?”

Katsuki gets hit with a memory loss quirk and Eijiro doesn't know how to navigate thier "new" friendship.

Katsuki pushed the blanket to the side, making space for Eijirou.
